Good morning! Super excited to be part of a HUGE and FABULOUS Blog Hop with the Unity Stamp Company and MISTI Design Teams! TONS of inspiration - this is a super picture heavy post just so you are fairly warned. There is also a giveaway for those who leave comments along the hop.
Everyone who leaves comments on all the blogs in the hop will go into a drawing for 3 prize packs from Unity and winner's choice of an Original or Mini MISTI. Please leave comments by May 30th at noon Central to be eligible. Winners will be posted on both the Unity Blog and My Sweet Petunia Blogs on May 31st.
There are so many wonderful ways to use your MISTI with your Unity Stamps - I've highlighted a couple with some Quick Tip videos to share today - I have a couple past videos you can see HERE and HERE if you are looking for more inspiration.
Here is the video showing how using both my Original and Mini Misti helped me quickly put this set together - as well as be able to layer the embossing for a seamless card front:
This is the card I did in the video - after the video, and once I finished the other color combos, I added some splashes of water and of gold watercolor and die cut with a simple rectangle die.
Here is a closer look at each of the color combos I did - so much fun playing with distress inks and color combos! Makes me so happy!
I love how all together they look like a pile of different colors of sherbet...yummy!
And for the next technique, I also used the brand new Mirror Stamping Tool - so many fun techniques I'm looking forward to trying with this! I paired it up with the Baby Boy Plaid and some stamp kissing to create these backgrounds:

I love that I was able to use both backgrounds. No waste, and two cards for the same effort - perfection!
This technique worked very well with distress oxide inks. I would imagine pigment inks would also work well - not sure about dye inks as I haven't attempted that yet!
The fun color combos with this are endless as well!
Here is the entire blog hop list in case you get lost along the way - you are almost at the beginning!
