Make sure and check out all the inspiration with this new release AND link up your creations as you receive your orders HERE in the Gallery created just for this release! And check out the graphic below for a coupon code for a free gift through Sunday, April 14th, 2019 as well!!!
For today I'm sharing a couple cards sharing two ways I used the beautiful new Bouquet of Roses stencil with Distress Oxide inks for slightly different looks!
For this first one, I used white cardstock and blended Distress Oxide inks over white cardstock using makeup blending brushes. I used two tones for the flowers, and two for the leaves to add some depth to the image.
For this second one, I used the exact same Distress Oxide inks, but blended them over watercolor cardstock, then misted with water to let the colors run together for more of a watercolor effect. To add to that look, I also smooshed two of the colors onto a clear block, picked up with a waterbrush, and used them to add splatters to the background.
For both cards, I added sentiments from the new Wake Up and Makeup Stamp Set - so many beautiful sentiments in that set! I then mounted each panel on a white cardbase. I love how I could use the exact same stencil, stamp set, and even Distress Oxide colors - and yet get two completely different looks! Would love to hear which one is your favorite?
I also have these following two cards posted on my blog yesterday using items from the new release - another post creating two cards with the same item - in this case one of the new dies from the release! You can check out more details on these cards HERE if you're interested!
