Good morning! I'm thrilled this morning to be part of Day 1 of a 2 day Blog Hop to celebrate the Fabulous NEW Hey Bestie Release from Simon Says Stamp!!! And check out the graphic below to receive the fun Friend Outline die FREE with your order using coupon code BFF4894 through Sunday, January 12, 2019 as well - while supplies last (code expires at 11:59 PM EST)!!!
For my card, I'm featuring the fabulous new Shimmer Heart die, sharing a unique way to use the two parts of the die for this layered and inked card - I also have a video sharing how I created this card!
Here is the video for this card - you can also watch it on YouTube HERE and check out my other videos if you want to see more:
I used 3 different colors of Distress Oxide inks - Seedless Preserves, Blueprint Sketch, and Lucky Clover - to create an ink blended background. I then used the center part of the die to create a stencil and apply embossing paste through it and over the inked panel.
The outer portion of the die was used to create a window, and mounted with foam adhesive over the top.
I carefully adhered a few Pearl White Jewels into the centers of the flowers to add a bit of extra sparkle.
And finally, adhered one of the super fun new CZ Design Reverse Sentiment Strips - Miss You over the center of the heart!
GIVEAWAY INFO:
