Reverse Confetti March Release Blog Hop - All about that Window Die

Good morning! It's time! The NEW March Release is live at Reverse Confetti - and the DT (and some special guests!) are hopping with even more inspiration for you!

I was unfortunately unable to post my projects over the sneak peek days - while I had them finished in plenty of time, I ended up catching the flu while on vacation at Disneyworld with my family, and my return home was delayed a few days while I recovered. Since I was on vacation and not planning on doing any work, I hadn't brought my laptop along with me. So, I am going to share 3 cards with you today - and then post the rest of my new projects over this next week probably.

All three of my cards have one of the new Confetti Cuts in common - Double Stitch Window Cover Panel - and I can tell you I will be using this new die a LOT in the future! So fun and versatile for sure!

For this first card, I paired it up with the new Tulips stamp set, and some lovely pattern paper from the Pattern Play 6x6 paper pad, a previous release.

I layered some pattern paper together with the window, and then draped one corner of pattern paper over the window and peeking out, giving the illusion of a tablecloth or something hitting the edge. This gave me the perfect place to mount my vase and flowers, simply colored with Copics and die cut with the Coordinating Confetti Cuts!

Love these soft colors together - don't you?

Next up, that window shines as a focal point on my card here:

For this card, I did some simple ink blending behind the window using Sunshine and Lime Green dye inks, and then added some sparkly gold splatters with my Starry Colors Palette.

Next, I die cut the new Happy Easter Confetti Cut twice - once from white cardstock, and again from gold glitter cardstock. I trimmed off just the word "Easter" from the gold glitter cardstock, and adhered it over the white layer for a two tone sentiment.

I adhered it over the window, then added a hefty coating of Glossy Accents on the word "Happy" to add a bit of additional interest and shine to this clean and simple design.

And finally - a simple little card using that window as a focal point for a super simple scene!

This card uses the adorable School Days stamp set. I colored up that adorable school bus with Copics, then added some Glossy Accents to certain parts of it to add some texture and shine. Once it dried...

...yep! I adhered it with an action wobble for an interactive card! Here is a look at the school bus in motion:

The cardbase is soft gray Stone cardstock, and while the Double Stitch Window Cover Panel is the size of an A2 card, it is super easy to trim down the outer edges to leave a border around the outside as well if you like. Super versatile!

Finished off by stamping the sentiment under the window.

Also thought I'd mention - there is a SALE on 6x6 pattern paper pads right now as well, if you love the paper I used on my first card, or just want to add to your stash a bit! Make sure to use code PAPER when checking out - and click HERE to check all the options out!

Here is a peek at the new product I used that released today!
