Lil' Inkers Valentine Release - Day 2

Hello again! Welcome to Day 2 of new little Valentine's Day release at Lil' Inker Designs! There are lots of fun Valentine theme things - but also stuff you can use all year around! I have links to all the product I used today at the bottom of my post.

First up today, I'm using the beautiful new Love You Greeting Die to make a shaker card - I love it paired up with some more of the gorgeous Love You Paper pack

I added a border cut with Border Builders Dies to the top, and a bit of Hemp twine. I also love how well all the stitching on everything coordinates!

Here is a closer peak at the shaker part! (((And those lovely little heart confetti inside the shaker? Those are releasing soon from Pretty Pink Posh! LOVE them!)))

And the second card - a Valentine with a little more neutral color scheme!

This one was pretty simple - I used the Quilted Swirl Stitched Pattern Die for the card base, added a heart cut with the new Dual Dotted Heart dies and a sentiment from the Lovie Friends stamp set, heat embossed in white on black cardstock. I sewed the heart on down the center, then curled the edges for dimension. Added the sentiment attached with foam adhesive, then a few sparkly clear sequins to finish it off!

And now the fun part! There is, of course, a chance to win some shopping money to spend on the new goodies! YAY! Laura is giving away 3 gift certificates for random comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!

Here is the entire Blog Hop line-up - make sure and check out each stop and leave your comments:

Navy, Mint, and Gold - Biggest Heart

Good morning! Stopping by this morning with a card using some stamps and dies from Simon Says Stamp - and a classic color scheme of navy, mint, and gold!

I actually had started by cutting that amazing Stacked Hearts die out in gold glitter cardstock - then went to Pinterest to pick what colors I wanted to pair with the gold - came across this one, and new I had the right one! I added a watercolor background, a heat embossed sentiment on a hand trimmed banner, and several layers cut with Simon Says Rectangle Dies with a bit of foam adhesive between layers. I then adhered the hearts with tiny dots of glue, leaving the edges free to curl up, then attached the sentiment banner in the center, curling the edges up as well on that.

Also joining in with the Simon Says Stamp Work It Wednesday Challenge - Something New (since this heart die was brand new to me!)

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Here are links to all the supplies I used on this card - hope you have a wonderful day!!!
