Action Wobble Puppy Card!!!

Good morning! I had a blast creating this card! It was made for one of my daughter's best friends who is celebrating her 8th birthday! I am also entering this in the Peachy Keen LFIF challenge - Our Furry Friends, and the Fantabulous Cricut - Birthday Bash Challenge.

I cut that cut puppy from Create a Critter, inked the edges a bit, added a Peachy Keen face and a Baker's Twine bow - then put him on an Action Wobble!!! (Which, by the way, are back in stock at Peachy Keen - I'm SOOOO happy to see that they have them again - I was starting to get scared I would run out!)

Here is a couple pictures of how the Action Wobble works:

The background is just a rectangle that I rounded the corners on then ran through my Cuttlebug. Added a bit off ribbon, some inking, and a sentiment from My Pink Stamper.

Thanks for stopping by - hope you have a fabulous week!!!

You're OWL-dorable!

Sigh...I really DO love 6x6 paper pads! I love how easy it is to combine pattern paper with them! I finally got around to making this owl card for a friend that had requested it quite some time ago. The final project I got done over my sick weekend!

I also used the Peachy Keen Sketch challenge - I know I took a bit of liberties with it, but hopefully it still works! I just loved that frame shape! I turned it sideways, and instead of using half the frame, I pulled it down and used the whole thing.

Anyway, I used Elegant Edges for the background frame and Straight from the Nest for the owl. Added some machine stitching around the outside edges, a Peachy Keen face to the owl, and a sentiment from My Pink Stamper. Oh, almost forgot...I also pop-dotted the owl from the background just for fun!

My Pink Stamper - Pinkalicious Challenge

I just had fun hopping along the My Pink Stamper's Pinkalicious Blog Hop, and when I saw the challenge - to use one of your favorite things to make a project - I knew just what I wanted to enter! I am also entering this in the Frosted Designs Challenge to incorporate animals.

I used several of my favorite things on this card! I cut the crab with my Cricut (one of my favorite things!) using Smiley Cards (a free download on my Gypsy - one of my other favorite things).

Added a Peachy Face and put him on an Action Wobble - two more of my favorites! Here are a couple of pictures showing the Action Wobble's motion:

And some more favorites: added a sentiment from My Pink Stamper's Biggie Punnies, and the "snap" to the background behind the crab. Tied some Baker's Twine around it and finished with some doodling.

My Pink Stamper Blog Hop Challenge!!!

Made this for the challenge at My Pink Stampers Blog Hop! For some reason this just popped into my head! (Almost forgot that I also wanted to enter it in the Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge! The challenge was to use Birthday Bash - which I did!)

All cuts, including the shaped card, are from Birthday Bash. Added a Peachy Keen Face, a Prima flower with a stick on pearl for the center, and then pop-dotted the bird from the background. The sentiment is from My Pink Stampers Tweety Hoo Puns stamp set. Also added some pink pearls to the corners, and some doodlin', as well as LOTS of inking on everything!

You're tweet!!!

Good morning! I will be drawing a winner for the Simply Charmed cartridge a little later this morning (see HERE if you haven't entered yet!) but I wanted to post this a bit earlier this morning. This is my first project with my Nifty Fifties cartridge. When I saw this cute little bird, I knew I HAD to makes something with it!

I used the shadow of his background to weld together to make a shape card. The shape was a little interesting to prop up and photograph - that is why it looks a little crooked in the picture - it was the best I could do! I then ran the background through the Cuttlebug, Added Glosssy Accents to the eyes and music notes, a stamped sentiment from My Pink Stamper, a bit of stitching around the edges, and then on a whim,  I put stickles all around the edges of nearly everything!

Hope you have a great morning, and I will be back soon to announce the winner!

Owl always love you

Good morning! Branched out yesterday and combined two of my favorite things: Unity stamps, and my Cricut! The banner at the top I stamped with my Unity stamp set, then cut out by hand. Added a cute owl from Straight from the Nest - with a Peachy Keen face, of course! - and a sentiment from My Pink Stamper's Tweetie Hoo Puns set. Thanks for looking!

Peachy Keen Snowman

On Black Friday, I had no intention of leaving my house, but I did manage to find a few great deals online! One of them was to order some more face stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps. Besides the great discounts, they also threw in this little stamp for free! So of course, I had to give him a try!

I colored him in with colored pencils, used my Cuttlebug to emboss the background, added LOTS of stickles (don't think the picture shows it very well - but it totally sparkles!), some bling with my Jolee's heat set tool, a little doodlin', a bit of ribbon, and a sentiment from my Pink By Design stamps.

Peachy Keen Faces...with a twist!

Hello! I had so much fun with the card!!! I cut out the little birds, and then realized that I only had the medium size critter faces, and all of them were MUCH too big for these little birds. So...I got a little creative! I used one of the bird faces, but only inked the beak and stamped that on each of them. Then I picked a face from the Princess faces assortment in the right size, and only inked the eyes and stamped them on! So...I kind of built my own face! Worked like a charm!

Used my Cuttlebug on the background, a stack of Prima Flowers, buttons and ribbons, some little jewels set on with my Jolee's heat set tool, and finished off with a sentiment from My Pink Stamper's Tweety Hoo Puns stamp set. Pop-dotted the birds, and the background for lots of texture.
Have a tweet day!

Birds of a feather

Well, I cut it kind of close, but I got it done! This is for the weekly challenge on the Cricut Circle blog - the challenge was to create a project with birds, at least two Cricut cuts, and stitching of some kind (machine or hand). The little birds in their cage are from Winter Frolic, the scallop background is from Gypsy Wanderings, and the stamp sentiment are from My Pink Stamper's Tweety Hoo Puns set (my winnings from a previous challenge I entered!). Picked up some twine at Joann's today, and used that for the stitching around the scallop, and added a little ribbon along the bottom, as well as some inking. Thanks for looking, and have a "tweet" day!
