Glimmery Fall Thanks - Tim Holtz Festive Finishes Release

Hello! I'm back with another card featuring one of the the BRAND NEW Tim Holtz Festive Finishes Release available at Simon Says Stamp NOW! This time I created something with a fall theme, which works so well with all the glimmery shine! It was so hard to capture it in photos, but I hope you can see just a glimmer of what it looks like in real life!

I started off by embossing the Leafy Arch Wreath on white cardstock. I flipped it over to use the debossed side, and used the coordinating stencils (also flipped over) to add color to the leaves with Sky, Limelicious. Sherbet, and Fairway inks. Then I used the blackout technique, and swiped over the panel with my Night ink pad. This makes the details pop, and those colors look beautiful and also a bit distressed. Then, I misted it heavily with Picket Fence Distress Spritz for lots of glimmer and shine, and set it aside to dry. I die cut the Opulent Thanks from white glitter cardstock and vellum, and assembled that, and stamped a sentiment from Winter Woodlands that I hand trimmed into a banner shape. I added a bow with silver cord to the embossed panel, mounted with foam on a white cardbase, and then added my sentiments to finish! Here are more photos of this card, that hopefully help capture the way it shimmers in the light when you tilt it! :)

Tim Holtz Technique Workshop - Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Collaboration

Hello! It's time for the reveal of the first of the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Exclusive Collaborations! Today's is a special Technique Workshop with Tim Holtz, complete with two exclusive stamps and dies! I put both of them to use to create this dreamy shaker card full of wintry fun!

I started off by using the tree image in Season of Magic to create a background. I stamped that tree at varying heights in 3 Distress Oxide ink colors - Lucky Clover, Salty Ocean, and Peacock Feathers. I also stamped the sentiment, then ink blended around the outside of that panel with a touch of SSS Tidepool ink. I then created a shaker window with Rainforest cardstock, cutting the window out with Stitched Arches. I added a frame created with that die as well and some sparkly white glitter cardstock - ink blending a bit of white pigment ink behind it to add the extra frosty feeling. I filled my shaker with a fun assortment of SSS Blue Skies embellishment mix, Trinity Stamps White Sparkle Stars, Trinity Stamps Coarse Sparkling Sugar, and some Tim Holtz Chunky Rock Candy glitter. This shaker is FULL of fun! I heat embossed the snowman from the Season of Wonder set in white on vellum, die cut it out, and then added it to the outside of the shaker window, tucked in the bottom. I wrapped some silver cord around the entire bottom of the panel, and added a loop bow. Finally, a little row of Clear Dazzling gems in the upper corner finish this card off! Here are lots more photos of all the details:

Celebrating You Today - Simon Says Stamp September 2026 Card Kit

Hello! I'm dropping by to share my first card using the newest September 2026 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Simply Shabby! This month's kit is built around a gorgeous 3D embossing folder called Morning Glory Vibes, which has an included stencil and die! The included Simply Shabby stamp set has a beautiful background that is lovely to use as texture on the same panel that is embossed, as well as some sentiments in a gorgeous font - not to mention an included die set for the sentiments. There are several other fun elements to the kit - including some ink cubes and cardstock! There are also a couple add on sets available in the store now!

The monthly card kit has lots of perks now when you sign up for the Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

For my card tonight, I used the lovely embossing folder on a panel of cardstock that I first stamped with the Simply Shabby background using Melon ink. I stamped on the side that I debossed the image on so I could use the reverse side of the panel. I then pulled out the Morning Glory Vibes stencil set, and flipped it over so it would match up with my florals, then stenciled it with Melon, Cantaloupe, and Sherbet. I then used the small Shading Brush included in the kit to add some soft green blending around the panel using Artichoke ink. I also blended some Buttercream ink around the panel edges to soften the design. Finally, I swiped my clear embossing ink pad over the top of the entire panel a couple times, and sprinkled with clear embossing powder. Once that was heat set, it made parts of the image pop even more, and added a lovely shine to the panel! I finished off with a sentiment from the Simply Shabby set, stamped and heat embossed in bold on a tag cut from one of the add-ons to the kit - XL Label Slides die, and ink blended around the edges with more of that Buttercream ink. I had been itching to use that beautiful Gold Circle Cord that I picked up a while ago, and threading it through that tag was the PERFECT use for it! I love how glamorous it looks on this design! Here is a closer look at the finished card:
