Tulip Get Well Soon Tag - Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release

Hello! I've got another project to share today using the BRAND NEW You Are My Favorite Release from Simon Says Stamp - and instead of a card, I have a sweet little tag to share!

I love tulips - so I had to put this cute little image from the new I Love You a Bunch stamp set to work - and a tag seemed like the perfect place! I stamped with Copic friendly ink, then colored in with Copic markers (that have been neglected friends for far too long!). I used the adorable new Scalloped Floral Tag die, cutting the top part from Ivory glitter cardstock. I added some Ivory Faux Silk ribbon and a bit of Red Baker's Twine, a sentiment from Flowering Frame (another new stamp set), and a bit of sparkle to the blooms with Nuvo glitter drops in Blizzard! Here are more photos of this sweet tag:

Birthday Stars - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I needed another masculine card for my birthday stash, and since I also happened to have some items I hadn't had a chance to use yet, this seemed like the perfect combination! I used an embossing folder from a recent release, a die set that I recently ordered, and some pattern paper - all from Simon Says Stamp

I started off with the Nested Stars die set, and some pattern paper from Carta Bella 6x6 Mercantile paper pad. I used Radial Dots embossing folder for the background, embossed on white cardstock, then layered the stars in a fun pattern stacked on top of each other, and letting the edges curl up freely. I wrapped some Baker's Twine around the embossed panel, then added the stars with foam adhesive. Sentiment is from Birthday Basics, and a few coordinating Dazzling Gems in Royal, Lucky, and Sunbeam finish it off! Here are more photos of this bright and happy card:

Love You Floral Circle - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! I had a bit of time to play this weekend, and randomly started putting together a few items I had leftover from other projects, or just items that I hadn't ended up using for one reason or another. All supplies are from Simon Says Stamp, and it was super fun to give them some new life!

I started off with an embossed background using Pinnacle Hearts on white cardstock for some simple background texture. I layered together a couple of circles die cut with Basic Circles from white and black cardstock, then layered over some leftover stamped and die cut florals from Blessings at Easter. They were stamped in Zest, Apple, Amethyst, Surf, and Dublin inks. Sentiment was a mix of the top sentiment from Loving Thoughts, and the larger sentiment at the bottom from Just a Note Notes, and I matted that one in black cardstock as well. Tucked some black and white baker's twine in there, tied in a bow, and popped a dot of Nuvo Drops in Blizzard in the center of each flower, then finished off with a few Surf Dazzling gems to finish off! Here is a closer look at this finished card:

Citrus Shine card - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today I've got a bright and shiny card to share - using a die that I actually have had for a while, and never got a chance to use from Simon Says Stamp - paired with some other supplies to finish the card off.

I started by cutting out several of the Citrus Slices die from Green Apple cardstock, and the solid layer from Shimmer Vellum, then layering them and gluing together. For the background, I used some watercolor paper, and used ink cubes in Celery and Limelicious to swipe down from the top of the panel, then misted with water, and let the colors run a bit. I smooshed some Pearfection on a clear block, picked it up with a wet brush, and added some additional splatters for texture. Once it was dry, I layered all the lime slices over top, adhering with liquid glue. I let some hang off the edges of the panel, and trimmed off the excess, reusing the trimmed off pieces as I was able. Sentiment is You Brighten My Day wafer die, cut from white for the shadow layer, then the main layer once each from Green Apple and black cardstock. I adhered those two layers together slightly offset for a shadow effect to make the words pop a bit extra. I added a tiny secondary sentiment over the top from Reverse Sunshine and Rainbows sentiment strips. Then it was time to add some shine! I covered the centers of the lime slices with Blizzard Glitter Drops, and the outside edges of each one - and the main sentiment - with Crystal Glaze. Gave that lots of time to dry thoroughly, then added a twine bow at the top with Black and White Baker's Twine. Here is a closer look at the finished card:

Reverse Plaid Star - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! A couple days ago I shared a card for New Years using some supplies from Simon Says Stamp. Well, sometimes I have leftovers from cards sitting around, and I hate to waste them. I was cleaning off my desk, and noticed that I had cut the star for the other card rather perfectly out of my A2 panel - initially so that I could make use of the bottom of the panel. But as it turns out, it make a fun window for a card too!

I grabbed some holiday plaid paper (also love stretching holiday supplies to cards past that time of year to get more use out of them!), and tucked that behind, then mounted the negative star with some foam tape over the top. I added an assortment of sentiments from the Pop That Cork reverse sentiment strips, cut out with the EZ Strips dies, and on slightly thicker foam adhesive strips. I finished off with some Dazzling Gems in black, and a little black and white Baker's Twine bow! Here are more photos of this finished card:

Best Yeti - Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share another card using the newest January 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Get Yeti! This month's kit has the cutest little winter friends! The included stamp set by the same name features some cute yeti and snowman images and sentiments (there is also a coordinating die for this set available separately HERE). There is a fun embossing folder, little bonus die setadorable pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

I love this cute yeti, and thought it would be fun to place him on a snowy hillside! I used Drifting Stitches border die and some of the pattern paper in the kit to create that hillside. For the background, I used the included Illuminated Jacks embossing folder on white cardstock. I stamped the yeti from the stamp set in soft gray ink, colored with Copics, then restamped to ensure a nice crisp image. I die cut him with the coordinating die, and added him holding the little heart as well. I used scissors to cut a little separation in his legs, so it could add the look of him walking forward - such an easy and fun little touch! A bit of red bakers twine, a sentiment from the preprinted sentiments in the kit, and then I mounted it on a red cardbase. Added a few Sparkly Clear Gems to finish this card off! Here are more photos of the finished card:

Holiday Cheer - Simon Says Stamp/Tim Holtz DieCember Limited Edition Surprise Set

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a couple cards using a fun little bonus surprise for DieCember at Simon Says Stamp! The adorable little snowman and Santa on my cards below are from a new Tim Holtz limited edition surprise set. This die set will be available for FREE with $25 or greater purchase of Tim Holtz product. So fun!

They are so cute and fun to die cut and layer up, and paired together so fun for these two cards. I used colored cardstock and white glitter cardstock for most of the layers, and a few elements with the same pattern paper I used for the background. These plaid pattern papers are some that I've been loving lately! I trimmed those down, added some distressing to the edges, then added some torn white paper underneath the edges of that. Layered over a bit of vellum, also with a torn edge, to soften the background a bit and provide a base for my images and sentiments. I also added a couple wraps of Black and White Baker's Twine tied around. Sentiments were cut from Luxe glitter cardstock, then layered with white cardstock behind that. I added some Nuvo glitter drops on parts of the images for added sparkle, and finished off with a few coordinating Metallic pearls! Here are more photos of these cards and those adorable images:
