Stenciled Daisies Sorry - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Stopping in to share a fun stenciled card from Simon Says Stamp that I partly created a few weeks ago at Lea Lawson's house while visiting her in Minnesota - and then finished up when I arrived home! I used some of her supplies to create this card - kind of fun to raid someone else's craft room sometimes, don't you think?

I didn't use anything brand new - although most of it was new to me. I used the Daisies and Leaves stencil, paired with some bright citrus tones of Limelicious, Citrine, and Cheeky, and stenciled in two corners of my panel of cardstock. The sentiments are from a fabulous sympathy set called So Sorry - I love the font, and all the great sentiments that are a little beyond the basic sympathy sentiments. I finished off with a few Clear Drops: Ice from Pinkfresh to add a bit of simple sparkle. Here are more photos of the finished card:

Holiday Cheer Snowflakes - Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first cards using the new December 2023 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Making Spirits Bright! This month's kit has a great holiday vibe, and lots of fun decorative elements! The included stamp set by the same name has some fun images to stamp as well as some great sentiments, there is a fun embossing folder, a fun phrase die, festive pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, tools, and more!

Today I'm sharing a duo of cards featuring a crisp black and white design, with some pops of red and green and sparkle! For these cards, I cut the Holiday Cheer die set from Red Holographic paper for the shadow layer, and white for the front layer. To create a background for those, I stamped the large snowflakes from the Making Spirits Bright stamp set in black on white cardstock, then trimmed that panel down, and added a thin mat using the green glitter paper in the Holiday Sparkle glitter pack from Pinkfresh Studio. I also added some coordinating Ruby and Jade glitter drops from Pinkfresh, to add that extra sparkle and pop of color. Here are more photos of these cards:

Love You - SB dot com Freebie set

Good morning! Dropping by to share a card using some Pinkfresh Studio supplies - including the special new Julieta Alpha die set that was is currently available exclusively at Scrapbook.com - and is available today as a free gift with any $20 purchase for the next couple of days, or while supplies last! You can click HERE for more details! There are also some other promos going on - you can check all those out HERE.

For my card, I wanted the sentiment with the new Julieta Alpha to be front and center, and Pinkfresh Washi is such a beautiful accent, that I knew they would be perfect together! I used the Artistic Dahlia washi, placing a panel on vellum, before die cutting - using vellum helps maintain that ethereal effect of the washi tape. I die cut the letters from white glitter cardstock from the Holiday Sparkle glitter pack (will soon be available on it's own as well!), and then created a background using Stitched Diamonds coverplate and Diagonal Stitched Rectangles. Used a soft pink cardbase, and finished off with a few Twilight Ombre Glitter Drops! Here are more photos of these cards so you can see these lovely alphas up close:

Thanks a Bunch - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a card I created recently for a Pinkfresh Studio's YouTube Live. This live was with Lea Lawson at her house, and we worked on it together actually! We had lots of fun, and did a ton of stenciling for this card! You can watch the video replay HERE if you want to see more details and watch this card come together.

Here is the replay of the live video if you'd like to watch it here:

For this card, I thought it would be fun to create the vase full of flowers using the new Farm Fresh set, but also nestled in a garden of flowers! We stamped and stenciled the florals a total of 6 times to get a bunch to work with. We used some soft green cardstock for the cardbase, and ivory cardstock for the vase. The Ornate Rectangle frame was created with ivory glitter cardstock, and the sentiment was from the new Beyond Happy for the sentiment - I thought it was a perfect fit with all those florals! A few Champagne clear drops were the finishing touch! Here are more photos and views of this card:

Stenciled Ombré Snowflake - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Stopping in to share a fun stenciled card from Simon Says Stamp that I recently created - simple, sparkly, and wintry! I love the color combo, the bit of sparkle, and the simple crisp black sentiment!

I started off by using the Stylized Mandala stencil directly on my white cardbase, in ombré tones of Pawsitively Saturated inks - Lucky, Ocean, and Royal. Before removing the stencil, I misted over the stenciled area with some Perfect Pearls mixed with water in a little bottle. This added some great shimmer and fun shine! I added a preprinted Reverse Sentiment popped up in black on the background, rounded off the upper right corner, and then added a few Clear Iridescent Pinkfresh drops for a bit of sparkle! Here are more photos of this card:

Christmas Ransom Note Style Cards - Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first cards using the new December 2023 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Making Spirits Bright! This month's kit has a great holiday vibe, and lots of fun decorative elements! The included stamp set by the same name has some fun images to stamp as well as some great sentiments, there is a fun embossing folder, a fun word die, festive pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, tools, and more!

As soon as I opened my kit, I instantly fell in love with the fun layered frames - and knew I had to use those. And as I flipped through the sticker sheets, and all the myriad of possibilities with those, a random idea popped into my head, and I just had to go for it! I thought it would be fun to use those stickers in a ransom note style to create fun little stories in those layered frames! Totally cracks me up how these turned out, and I can't help but laugh when I look at them! :)  I popped the frames and the stickers up on foam adhesive on plain white cardbases, then rounded off one corner to add some interest. I embellished with a few of the little pearls that came in the kit to finish off. These cards were super easy - the slowest part was digging through to pick which stickers I wanted to use! Here are more photos and views of these cards:

Pink Snowflake Slider Card - Pinkfresh Studio Instagram Release Hop

Hello! Today I am part of a fun Instagram hop to celebrate the new Pinkfresh Studio November release. There are giveaways up for grabs, so hop on over to check that out if you haven't yet! I have had so much fun creating with this release - yesterday was the blog hop, and I shared a LOTS of cards for that! Today I'm sharing a fun layered and colorful card I created on YouTube Live last week with Lea Lawson using the new interactive die, and each of us using a different stamp set. You can watch that video HERE if you want to see more details!

Here is the replay of the live video if you'd like to watch it here:

This card definitely has lots of pink, and a bit of sparkle, and I love how it came out! Interactive cards aren't something I do often, so when I do, I really love them, and feel like they are extra special! The new Side Slider die makes it really easy - and I did a bit of extra layering and die cuts to add color and texture and frames. And of course dimension! The new Folk Snowflake set of product was actually the set I used for our last Create and Connect event - I loved playing with it again to get a different look. This time, I heat embossed in white on pink cardstock, then blended in pink tones on the pink cardstock. This makes the white heat embossing just pop! I used the Snowflakes coverplate die to add some texture to some of the layers, and added a few glittery white snowflakes die cut from the white glitter paper in the new Holiday Sparkle glitter paper pack, and embellished with some of the new Clear Drops: Blush - love these! Scroll down to see all the photos, including the hidden sentiment when. you slide the die up, and the piece I used to embellish the inside of the card that I stamped and stenciled on white cardstock:
