Rose Gold Butterflies - Simon Says Stamp Fluttering By Release

Good morning! Dropping by today to share another card I made using some of the newest Simon Says Stamp Fluttering By Release that just happened last week! I used some of the negative die cuts from the card I shared last week for the blog hop HERE (psst...there's still time to comment on the hop posts and enter the giveaways!)

I started looking at the negative die cut from the Flickering Butterflies that I used on my other card, and decided to trim it down and inlay some more butterflies. Can you see how this could go on for forever?!?!? However, I used a smaller scrap of the Tonic Rose Gold cardstock - so I promise this isn't the card that never ends! Haha!

Look at the lovely shine from that rose gold! Isn't it purty?!?!?

I layered on some pretty Pebbles pattern paper from a past card kit of the month, die cutting a scallop on one side using Scallop Stitches Die, and adding some messy machine stitching to connect the two. The larger panel was cut using Wonky Rectangles. Added some hand trimmed banners, a tiny paper clip, and some jute twine at the top. Sentiment is from another new release - Mom Flowers, which has wonderful sentiments in it!

Pretty Pink Posh March Release Hop - Better With You Bunnies

Good morning! Today is the second day of the fun blog hop to celebrate the new Pretty Pink Posh Spring Release! You can check out the entire release HERE. There is TONS of inspiration to be found along the blog hop - and a few fabulous giveaways as well!

You should have arrived here from Liz Sarkisyan - if you just happened along, head over to the Pretty Pink Posh Blog to start at the beginning! I used several of the darling new releases for my card today:

I started off with the beautiful Happy Easter Shaker Die - cut from white cardstock, and then with the words trimmed out of the center with detail scissors. I then stamped and colored up several of the adorable bunnies from Bunny Friends and die cut them with the coordinating Bunny Friends Dies.

I attached the Happy Easter Shaker Die with the fabulous Foam Adhesive Strips that are back in stock at Pretty Pink Posh (these things are awesome - nice and thin and perfect for adhering little frames like this - and the price is great as well!) - then tucked the colored bunnies in around attaching with foam adhesive.

I added a sentiment from the new Encouraging Greetings stamped on a cute tag die cut with Mini Tags Dies, and tied on some jute twine. Finishing touch is some of the new Buttercream Jewels - you are going to want EVERY. SINGLE. COLOR. of these!!! SOOOO fun and fabulous - I'm addicted to them!

GIVEAWAY INFO:
Now the fun part - there are a total of 4 $25 Gift Certificates up for grabs - 2 winners for each day - Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Make sure and leave comments by 11:59 PM PST on March 12, 2018 to qualify! Winners will be announced after that on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog!

Love and Hugs Birds - Simon Says Stamp Card

Hello! Back to share another card using some fun Simon Says Stamp stamp sets that have been a bit neglected in my stash! I really enjoyed playing a bit more with the fun

As a side note: I also had tons of fun photographing this card - one of my first using some of my BRAND new Photography Boards from Photoboards! I finally decided to order some of them last week, imagine my surprise when they arrived here from the UK in less than a week! I have taken a few photos and am in LOVE with them so far! This one uses the 40cm Cement Photo Boards.

For this card, I started with a white panel cut with Stitched Rectangles Dies. I laid a die cut Stitched Window on it, then arranged and stamped 4 of the little birdies from Fingerprint Doodles in the windows, using a fun rainbow of SSS inks to stamp the fingerprints. I then die cut two more Stitched Window from black cardstock, layered them together, and added the white frame over the top. This gave such a subtle but lovely shadow effect to the window - LOVE it!

Added a sentiment underneath using Love and Friendship, then layered some Echo Park 6x6 pattern paper underneath, and mounted the front panel with foam adhesive.

More Beautiful than Cinderella...

Good morning! Dropping by this morning with a super quick and simple card featuring a gorgeous sentiment from a newly released Lil' Inker Designs Stamp set called Galentine's Day. I fell in love with it and realized that it was perfect for this pattern paper as well!

I heat embossed it on a piece of vellum die cut with Anytime Tags, and die cut my pattern paper using Stitched Mats: Rectangles. I attached them together at the top with a line of machine stitching, then added a few wood veneer shapes to hide a bit more adhesive to hold the banner in place. Super easy!

Kind of Adore You a Lot - SSS November Card Kit

Good evening! I'm stopping by to share one more card with the BRAND NEW Kind Flowers November Card Kit for Simon Says Stamp that I somehow missed before! Sometimes I feel like I say it every month, but truly, this month's kit may be my favorite EVER! The stamp set - Kind Flowers - is HUGE and full of the most beautiful kindness sentiments you can imagine! And amazingly, this one is not sold out yet - so you still have time to nab it! :)

I created this simple black, white, and gold card using the pattern paper and stickers in the kit, paired up with a sentiment from the stamp set. I used the same trick as the other two cards for the bird sticker element - I peeled it off the backing, then applied powder with my Powder Tool until it wasn't sticky anymore. That way I could place it where I wanted, and add foam adhesive - like I did on this card! Sentiment was heat embossed with a bit of white on a thin strip of black cardstock, and I embellished with a few drops of Nuvo Ebony Black Crystal Drops to finish off.

Here is a look at the entire kit contents - you can find it HERE:

LID Christmas Release - Day 3

Hello! It's the third and final day of the blog hop to celebrate the fun new release at Lil' Inker Designs - a super fun mix of stamps and dies in this release! I'm back with more fun inspiration with some of the new dies this time! You should have arrived here from Chrissy Larson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. I also have links to all the new products I used on today's cards!

Today's cards feature some fun with letters and words! This first card I used the new Peace, Love, & Joy stamp set - a fun set that has two part stamping options for the letters to build these three words. I couldn't choose just one, so I used all 3 on my card! It's hard to see, but I used the smaller part of each letter to stamp in Delicata Gold Pigment Ink - which adds a subtle shine.

To emphasize the words, I added "joy" and "peace" from Rustic Christmas underneath their respective words, and since I couldn't find "love" in the same font I added some little hearts from Greetings & Salutations to reinforce that word in a visual way.

Next up, I used the FABULOUS new Joy to the World Stamp set - this one is PERFECT for making Christmas cards with a simple focal point!

I heat embossed it with some fabulous new Lawn Fawn Rose Gold Embossing powder that I picked up recently and hadn't had a chance to try - LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I added some pattern paper to the top and bottom trimmed with Border Builders Die Set, and tied on a bit of jute twine to finish off.

It was hard to capture it with a photo, but check out the pretty shine this has:

Your next stop along the blog hop is Jennifer Carter - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping.

And now the really fun part! One lucky person is going to win THE ENTIRE RELEASE! Winner will be chosen from comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!

LID Christmas Release - Day 2

Hello! Welcome back to Day 2 of the fun new release at Lil' Inker Designs - a super fun mix of stamps and dies in this release!

Today's cards are all rustic and ready for a cozy cabin style Christmas! This first one uses the fabulous new Christmas Words Tree Die! I die cut it twice from white cardstock and glued the layers together to make it a bit thicker. I die cut again with gold cardstock and trimmed just the star off to adhere at the top. That lovely background pattern paper was die cut using Stitched Mats: Rectangles. Finishing touch was some nice rustic jute twine wrapped around several times and tied in a loose bow.

Next up - another rustic feeling card, but a bit more CAS, using the fun Noel Word Die!

For this one, I also cut the die with two layers of white cardstock to stack together, then again from pattern paper to layer over the top of that. I used Cover Up Die: Stitched Woodgrain for the background, and used a scrap of red pattern paper to run through again, trimming out just the heart part of the Woodgrain die. I adhered the Noel Word Die so that the "o" was centered over the heart. Finally, I covered all of those pieces with a good coat of Nuvo Crystal Glaze for lots of shine and extra dimension!

Your next stop along the blog hop is Jennifer Carter - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!

And now the really fun part! One lucky person is going to win THE ENTIRE RELEASE! Winner will be chosen from comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!

Courageous and Kind - SSS November Card Kit

Good morning! I'm stopping in again this morning to share another card with the BRAND NEW Kind Flowers November Card Kit for Simon Says Stamp that just released! Sometimes I feel like I say it every month, but truly, this month's kit may be my favorite EVER! The stamp set - Kind Flowers - is HUGE and full of the most beautiful kindness sentiments you can imagine! And the gorgeous embossed papers - oh my goodness, they are amazing! I used one of those on my card this morning:

The texture of that embossed bronze paper is so fabulous! And I'm still loving the stickers from the kit as well. I used the same trick as last nights card - I peeled it off the backing, then applied powder with my Powder Tool until it wasn't sticky anymore. That way I could place it where I wanted, and add foam adhesive - like I did on this card!

I stamped three sentiments from the Kind Flowers stamp set on thin strips of cream cardstock, and mounted those with foam adhesive as well. Finished off by matting the paper with a thin strip of Cream and Green Leaf, then mounting on a cardbase of Dark Chocolate.

Here is a look at the entire kit contents - you can find it HERE:
