Custom Watercolor Eucalyptus Wreath - Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Live Card

Good morning! Yesterday was once again my day for a Facebook Live video, and for the first time ever I didn't have a practice card made and a perfect plan - we totally winged it!! And it was pretty fun I think! If you missed it and want to take a peek, you can find it on the Pinkfresh Facebook Page - this week's video is available HERE. There won't be a live video for the next two weeks as I am leaving on Saturday for a family trip to Iceland, Norway, and Sweden - so very excited for such an amazing trip! As always today, there was one giveaway for someone who watched live, so make sure and pop in when we resume on July 18th for a chance to win that week's live giveaway - 10 AM Pacific time on Thursday morning!

In the meantime - here is some more info and photos of the card set we made, as well as links to all the products used!

We used the beautiful new release Eucalyptus Fantasy stamp set and a few Liquid Watercolors to create our own custom watercolor - it's kind of an olive color, and I love how you can mix your own custom colors with these beautiful pigments!

The coordinating Eucalyptus Fantasy Die Set makes it easy to cut out the outer edges of the wreath, the inner portion, or both as we did on this card. We also tied some jute string around it in a bow before adhering it.

Sentiment was heat embossed in the center of the wreath, and a few white paint splatters and gold splatters with my Starry Colors palette are the finishing touches on this card!

LID June Release Day 3 - Touched Beyond Words

Hello! And welcome to the 3rd and final day of the blog hop sharing projects with the BRAND NEW June release at Lil' Inker Designs! This is a super fun and happy release - you are going to love this one! You can find the entire new release HERE!

Today's card is a bright and simple card, nice and flat and easy to mail - not quite one layer, but not too far off either!

I absolutely LOVE the beautiful font and sayings in Hand Drawn Thankfulness, so I wanted to make sure and let this one shine on the card without too many distractions!

I heat embossed it on a panel of colored pattern paper, then used Quilted Stitched Stepping Stones Die on a panel of white cardstock, die cut it into a rectangle using Stitched Mats: Rectangles, then die cut a rectangular window out of the front of that panel for the sentiment to peek through.

Finished off with another layer of pattern paper, and adhered all the layers flat together. Foam adhesive would be fun as well - but I thought this made a nice, simple and easy to mail card!

Your next stop along the blog hop is Karen Baker - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!

Now...how would you like to win the ENTIRE new release?!?!?!? WOW - some lucky winner is going to be VERY happy! Make sure and leave a comment here before hopping along to the next stop - and leave comments at each stop for a chance to win!

LID June Release Day 2 - Happy Birthday to You

Hello! Back for Day 2 of the blog hop sharing projects with the BRAND NEW June release at Lil' Inker Designs! This is a super fun and happy release - you are going to love this one! You can find the entire new release HERE!

I love that there are some fun birthday theme sets in this release - I feel like birthday cards are the ones I make and use the most often, so it's always great to have some fun options to create quick and easy cards!

I die cut the huge focal Happy Birthday to You Word Die 3 times - once from coral cardstock, and twice from white (and am I the only one that can't keep myself from starting to sing the song as I read this?!?!?). I layered them together, offsetting the white layer a bit for a shadow effect to help the words pop on my bright happy pattern paper background.

I stamped several images from the fun Cake Party stamp set, colored with Copic markers to coordinate, then die cut with the coordinating Cake Party Dies.

I also used the fun new Quilted Stitched Stepping Stones Die on the background panel, then adhered those fun party images around my sentiment using foam adhesive.

LID June Release Day 1 - Cup of Tea

Hello! So excited to start sharing projects with the BRAND NEW June release at Lil' Inker Designs! This is a super fun and happy release - you are going to love this one! You can find the entire new release HERE!

One of my favorites from the new release are the fun tea theme sets! As much as I love the smell of coffee, I can't stand the taste of it - and am definitely a tea girl, so these were right up my alley!

I used lots of solid and pattern papers from The Stamp Market to die cut the layers from Time For Tea Die Set - love the soft colors, and wouldn't you love to have a cup that looked like that to drink your morning tea from?

Sentiment from Time for Tea Stamp Set was heat embossed on the tea bag tag, and I added some "steam" above the cup using the previously released Coffee Cozy Die Set!

Your next stop along the blog hop is Karen Baker - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!

Dino Birthday Wishes - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Dropping by today with a super simple little birthday card that I created recently using one of the adorable prints from the Suzy's Watercolor Prints - Celebrate Dads from Simon Says Stamp! Isn't it fun that there is a birthday print included, as well as lots for Father's Day?

This was one of several of these that I took out on my back porch and watercolored - perfect way to spend a beautiful summer afternoon!

Later when it dried, I trimmed the panel down, matted with a bit of green cardstock, then mounted on a white cardbase. I also added a few details with some Copic Opaque White medium - it stands out so nice over the watercolors!

I die cut a Braided Tag Die and used it upside down as a base for my swag at the bottom, and heat embossed a sentiment at the top in white, also tying a bit of jute twine at the top.

A Stitched Rectangle for the background with a green cardbase, and a few of the jewels from the Essentials: Jewels Mix finish this card off!

Let Your Heart Bloom - Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Live Card

Good morning! Yesterday was once again my day for a Facebook Live video, and it was die cutting week with lots of fun florals using Dainty Blossoms Dies to create our own flower garden on a card - and I also shared a tiny sneak peek of the new release coming Monday!! If you missed it and want to take a peek, you can find it on the Pinkfresh Facebook Page - this week's video is available HERE. As summer begins there may be some weeks we have to skip, but overall still planning to do this each week on Thursdays as schedules allow - so I hope you'll be able to come join me sometime! As always, there was one giveaway for someone who watched live, so make sure and pop in next week for a chance to win next week's live giveaway - 10 AM Pacific time on Thursday mornings! Make sure and come back on Monday for a special Facebook Live sharing the brand new release that is coming that day!

In the meantime - here is some more info and photos of the card set we made, as well as links to all the products used!

Dainty Blossoms is truly one of my very favorite die sets! I just love how delicate and pretty they are! I die cut them from white cardstock and layered over some peach cardstock.

We die cut a "ground" from coral cardstock using Essentials: Classic Edgers Die Set, and also heat embossed a sentiment on there from Blooming Bouquet stamp set.

Finished off with a frame die cut using Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles, then added a sprinkling of jewels from Essentials: Jewels Mix. Mounted that panel on a soft green cardbase!

Gold and Shimmer Powders - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Back today a card featuring a couple different recent releases from Simon Says Stamp, a bit of heat embossing, and some more Nuvo Shimmer Powders!

I love the look of heat embossing with Shimmer Powders - and if you make it gold heat embossing, it adds an entirely different and beautiful look as well! For this card I used the Floral Mix Background stamp on watercolor paper, heat embossing in gold, then sprinkled with Falling Leaves Shimmer Powder and misted with water. The different colors in the shimmer powder pool within the heat embossing and dry with such fun variation and texture - so fun!

I added a sentiment from Home Sweet Home stamp set - part of the most recent release, and one of my favorite quotes! I heat embossed it on some Gina K Cardstock that coordinated with the hint of blue color in this particular shimmer powder. Trimmed it down, matted with a bit of white cardstock, then mounted with foam over my background.

I love how the simple sentiment really allows this background to shine - can you see the shimmer paired with the gold embossing in this next photo?
