Clothespin and Twine Front Panel

Good morning! Have you seen some of the new releases from Unity Stamp Company? They are darling - and top of my cute list is this little one! I adore the sentiments that come with it as well!

I have a Quick Tip Video for this card as well - basically showing how I use a clothespin and twine on the card - and a little secret tip on how to hold everything in place!

I used watercolors for the image, and some pretty woodgrain pattern paper in the background. Lots of simple white space on this card!

I'm also linking this up to this weeks Simon Says Monday Challenge - Transport It (this has to be one of the most fun modes of transportation, don't you think?):

LID January Release - Day 1

Hello! So happy today to begin sharing some fun projects for the brand new Valentine's release at Lil' Inker Designs - and love is definitely in the air! You should have arrived here from Chrissy Larson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. I also have links to all the new products I used on today's cards!

I seriously am SOOO in LOVE with all the beautiful new love theme products in this release! First up, I have this simple layered card:

For this card, I used the heart die in Dual Stitched Heart and Kisses Word Die to cut a window in my white cardstock - don't you love how the stitching shows on the negative of the die cut?

Next, I stamped a sentiment from Filled Heart Stamp set and heat embossed in white on a strip of vellum, adhering on the back of the window.

I die cut the front panel and the card base with the previously released Silly Stitched Die Set, added a wrap of jute twine tied in a bow, and adhered to my card base with foam adhesive - with a bit of pattern paper tucked appropriately on the card base.

Next up - this light and airy neutral card:

For this one, I just wanted to let the beautiful new Today and Always Greeting Die be the star of the show.

I also used the beautiful previously released Quilted Stitched So Knotty Cover Up Die - I love these for adding some subtle texture and interest to a simple white card base like this!

I wrapped some jute twine around my card, tied the upper corner of the die on, then added a tiny clothespin over the top. Also added a tiny bit of adhesive toward the bottom of the die to lock it into the place I had chosen for it.

Your next stop along the blog hop is Jennifer Carter - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!

And now the really fun part! One lucky person is going to win THE ENTIRE RELEASE! Winner will be chosen from comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!

Here is the entire Blog Hop line-up - make sure and check out each stop and leave your comments:

Reverse Confetti Fall-idays - Christmas

Good morning! This week the Reverse Confetti is doing a fun little event called Fall-idays, to help get you in the mood and inspired for your holiday crafting! Each day is a different holiday, and today we are focusing on Christmas projects!

Once again, I went with some cute little treat packaging - I think these would be adorable to have at every place setting for Christmas, and filled with a little sweet treat!

I used the adorable new Vintage Ornaments Stamps and coordinating Dies, and stamped them with two of the lovely new ink colors, Brick and RC Aqua, and the top of the ornament was cut out of Stone cardstock.

I used tiny Glassine bags, and filled them with some Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans - also from Trader Joe's, then folded the top down, punched a couple holes, and threaded through some jute twine to tie them closed. Added the tiny paper clip, punched a hole in the top of the ornaments, and then attached the ornaments with foam adhesive so they stayed exactly where I wanted them to be. Added a few gold sequins, a couple of wood veneer stars, and a couple of mini clothespins at the top to finish off.

Here are the Reverse Confetti products I used on this card - click on the picture if you want to learn more about any of these items!
