Hey Friend Floral Layers - Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share a couple more cards using the new August 2023 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Retro Wishes! This month's kit has a fun retro feel to the stamp set, with a good touch of florals and fun geometric elements. The included stamp set by the same name has some fun images to stamp as well as some great sentiments, there is a 3D embossing folder, pretty pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, embellishments, and more!

It's no secret that I love pattern paper - and I *may* have a particular fondness for Pinkfresh pattern paper - so when I saw the Lovely Blooms papers included in the kit, I knew a couple cards were going to feature those! I chose two coordinating papers, trimmed them to size, and then added a torn edge, before layering them up, leaving just enough room at the bottom to stamp a sentiment from the stamp set. I tied some May Arts Faux Silk ribbon around, and tied in a loose bow to finish off and add a bit of interest to these cards! Here are some more views and close ups of these cards:

I have this trio of cards using several new items from the release - and I love how fun they were to use together! I started off with the NEW Noted stamp set - stamping out the notebook pages and all the added items custom on each one. My MISTI made it super easy to do - and they have such fun sentiments! For the background on the card, I used the NEW Vines Embossing Folder on white cardstock, just to add some texture and interest to the background. I then stamped the NEW Ticking cling background in black on white cardstock, and trimmed into strips to tuck behind. A few coordinating enamel dots help finish these off! Here are more photos of the set, as well as individual photos of each one (make sure and read the fun items on each list!):

Joy of the Season - SB dot com Freebie set

Good morning! Dropping by to share a card using some Pinkfresh Studio supplies - including the special new Berry Branch stamp set that was is currently available exclusively at Scrapbook.com - and is available today as a free gift with any purchase for the next 3 days, or while supplies last! There is also a coordinating stamp and layering stencil that I used on this card, and is available there as well. You can click HERE for more details! There are also some other promos going on - you can check all those out HERE.

I went traditional gold, red, and green for my card today! I heat embossed the image in gold, then ink blended with the layering stencils in Passion Fruit, Berrylicious, Fresh Pear, and Grassy Knoll inks. I die cut with the coordinating dies, then tucked into a Stitched Scallop Rectangle that I die cut from gold cardstock. Both are mounted with foam on a cream colored cardbase. I added the sentiment, stamped in Detail Black on the cardbase, and embellished with a few Gold Glitter Drops to finish. Here are some more photos of this card:

Listening is a Precious Gift - Pinkfresh Studio Instagram Release Hop

Hello! Today I am part of a fun Instagram hop to celebrate the new Pinkfresh Studio release. There are giveaways up for grabs, so hop on over to check that out if you haven't yet! I have had so much fun creating with this release - yesterday was the blog hop, and I shared a TON of cards for that!

For this card, I loved the fall feeling of the Foliage Shaker die, but I wanted to use a different color combo to show how versatile they are! The pink and white monochromatic color scheme worked out perfectly. I used the Shaker Tag Book die to cut a couple of pink tags, then cut both layers of each of the Foliage Shaker dies from white cardstock. I adhered them together with liquid glue just in the centers, allowing the outer sides to pull up for dimension (you can see it best in a few of the photos further in the post). Sentiment is from another new stamp set - Thanks for Being There - heat embossed in white, then die cut with the smallest Shaker Heart die. A few Glitter Drops in blush finish this card off! Keep scrolling for more photos of the finished card!

Pinkfresh Studio July 2023 Stamp, Die, and Stencil Release

Good morning! Today is the blog hop to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's July 2023 Stamp, Die, and Stencil Release! You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and prizes up for grabs! YAY! You can find links to all of the new release items I used on today's cards at the bottom of this post!

This release isn't super large, but I still managed to create several cards to share with you today!

This first card uses the adorable new All Kinds of Wonderful set - I love the little whimsical wildflowers, and they are easy to use different colors on with the layering stencils. I used a mix of fun spring theme colors on my card, and then layered the new Dotted Chevron coverplate die on the cardbase for texture, the Secret Garden die over the top for more texture (all die cut from white), then finished off with a window cut from white cardstock using the largest Nested Arches. I tucked my florals in at the bottom, added the sentiment stamped in black from the set and die cut with the coordinating dies, and finished off with a few coordinating jewels. Here are some more photos of this first card:

Next up, a card featuring a new layering stencil set!

For this card, I first used the new Overlapping Triangles layering stencils in a bright summery color palette. I then used the Dotted Chevron coverplate die over the top of it to add some interest and texture. I framed it up with a Stitched Scallop rectangle cut from matte gold cardstock, and then heat embossed the florals from Thanks for Being There stamp set in white on vellum. I trimmed them down a bit to tuck into the frame in the corners - love the soft whimsical feel this gave! I took the parts I trimmed off, and layered them over the top for more texture - in total, I used two fully stamped floral images, but layered up it feels like more. Finished off with a sentiment from that set, heat embossed in gold and die cut with the coordinating die, and a few Matte Gold metallic pearls. Here are some more looks at this card:

And now it's time to focus on the fabulous new floral ephemera - as well as a couple other dies!

For this card, I once again used the Dotted Chevrons coverplate die (can you tell I kind of love it?!?). I used it directly on a Cream cardbase - without cut lines, I love that it has this added versatility. I used a tag from the new Shaker Tag Book die set as the base for my card, then arranged some florals over the top, and under one corner. I also used the pretty new Fall Leaf die cut from white to add some interest and texture, tucked under the larger floral. I stamped the sentiment in Warm Buff ink, die cut with the coordinating die, and added that on the top of the tag. To finish, I added some twine tied in a loose bow on the tag, and a few Sparkle and Shine Ombre Glitter drops sprinkled around the card! Here is a closer look at this card:

And finally, another card featuring that same ephemera!

For this card, I raided some of my stash of leftovers from other projects - I had that panel cut with the Stitched Diamonds coverplate die, with a window cut out of it using the Nested Hexagons die. I mounted that with foam over a soft pink cardbase, then tucked some florals around it - trimming any as needed (one of those I tucked under the top of the sentiment at the end). I added some leaves cut from the Shaker Leaves die from soft gold glitter cardstock, tucking them under the florals, and chose a sentiment from Foiled Sentiments 6 to add to the center. Finished off with some Peach Fuzz jewels for sparkle. Here are some more photos of this final card:
