Twin Baby Onesies - Unity Stamp Company

Goodness...have you ever had time just fly by and miss sharing something? Well...this card is actually one that I created nearly a YEAR ago for the baby shower for my (then) soon to be arriving identical twin nephews! They are now nearly 11 months old, and some of the cutest little guys I know! So I figured it was time to share these cards, don't you think?

Can you see the fun shine on these? I actually colored them with Copic markers, then smooshed an embossing ink pad over the entire image and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. This gave them a fun shine, and a different look than just a stamped image.

These onesies are actually pretty large - I had to make this card 5x7 to fit them both on! I blended some coordinating distress ink on the cardbase to create a fun background (also adding a few splatters with the same colors), and the sentiment was stamped on a die cut banner.

I popped everything up on foam adhesive, added some tiny white die cut stars, and a bit of jute string attached with some tiny staples at the top of the banner to finish this card off!

Evelin T Release Week - Day 4

Good morning! Today is the day! The new release from Evelin T Designs is live and ready to shop - you can find the new release HERE! Check out the Evelin T Designs Blog for more info!

Here is my card to share for today using Life is Beautiful - one of the new sets releasing today!

I loved all the darling little plan images, and thought they would be perfect to create a simple little shaker card.

I colored one of the little rows of plants with Copic markers, then carefully fussy cut out the image.

I created my shaker element using a die from Simon Says Stamp, filled with pretty sparkly circle confetti from Pretty Pink Posh, and tucked the row of plants under the bottom edge of the window.

I finished off by adding the sentiment underneath, then added Glossy Accents on the pots, and sparkly Nuvo drops on the plants for added sparkle.

Evelin T Release Week - Day 2

Good morning! Today is Day 2 of sharing projects using the new release from Evelin T Designs! Check out the Evelin T Designs Blog for more info!

I am a tea drinker through and through - so I was super excited to see the adorable set that is one of the ones we are showing off today!

For this card I grabbed some fun pattern paper, and die cut some circles in various sizes.

I used the lightest colored circles to stamp my sentiment and images, then layered them together with foam adhesive and placed them on the patterned background.

Finished off with a bit of splatter using my Pinkfresh Liquid Watercolor in Licorice - just to bring the whimsical factor up a bit.

Thinking of You - Masked Heart

Hello! Dropping by this evening with a quick card. I am super excited to be part of the Online Card Classes Spring Card Camp as a Guest - but I also thought it would be fun to play along with some of the lessons when I have time as well! I was the guest instructor for Day 1, but loved Kristina Werner's version of the lesson for that day - so thought I would attempt one closer to her version. You can find all the supplies I used linked at the bottom of this post! Oh - and you can go HERE to check out the card camp, it's not too late to sign up!

Today's lesson was on creative masking and stamping - such a fun technique! I love how many possibilities this has!

Partial Circle Froggy Christmas Card

Hello! I'm a bit late in the day, but there are some fabulous release from Unity Stamp Company that happened today, paired up with another fabulous sale as well! It's been a while since I had time to work with any of the new releases (besides my weekly posts on the Unity Blog) so today I had fun creating a few videos with the new items that released today. First up, this cutie using the adorable new Cuddlebug Frog - is he not the cutest?!?!?

Here is a video sharing how this card came together:

This cutie was colored very simply with just 5 Copic markers - you can see in the video how I colored him all up.

I also shared a trick for die cutting that partial circle without cutting off the bottom left corner!

Pattern paper is from an older Christmas paper pad in my stash - and the top corner rounded off helps pull the entire card together!

Floral Window Trio - Unity Stamp Company

Good morning! Yesterday Unity Stamp Company had a super fun release, and an Instagram Hop to celebrate! The Instagram Hop is still going through next Thursday, with some great prizes up for grabs, so head over there and hop if you haven't! I shared these three cards on Instagram for the hop yesterday, and thought I'd pop in here and share a few more details!

This first card uses the absolutely darling new Phyllis Harris stamp set - Favorite Days. Absolutely darling, isn't it?!?!?

These next two cards absolutely crack me up! These adorable old ladies and their perfect sentiments are so very fun! This first one uses the fun Demand a Recount:

The second one uses Only Old Once.

I used some pretty floral pattern paper, die cut some windows in them, and popped them over my colored image. I also added some Crystal Glaze on the glasses and jewelry of the sweet older gals, and finished off with a few sparkly jewels from Pretty Pink Posh.

Crafty Friends Stick Together - Heffy Doodle 2018 Creativation Special Stamp Set GIVEAWAY

Good morning! So - this is a SUPER old project that I made LAST year for Creativation, and even though I posted it on my Instagram, I never posted it on my blog here. And since I'm down here in Phoenix for this years show - AND, it just so happens I have a couple spares of these stamp sets still stashed at home, I thought it would be fun to do a giveaway!!!

For the base of this tag, I used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Dress Up Tags Dies - I love the size of this die, and the piece to die cut for the top is super fun as well.

I stamped my images from the stamp set, and colored it up with Copics - which was nice and easy since it was such a cute little image! Finished off with some twine at the top of my tag!

GIVEAWAY INFO:
So make sure and leave a comment before you go and I will pick some winners sometime next week when I get home and recover a day or two from the busy weekend!

Pinkfresh and Page Maps

{{{If you're looking for my Seasons Giving Blog Hop and Giveaway post click HERE, or scroll back to find the post!}}}

Good morning! I recently had the opportunity with the Pinkfresh Design Team to collaborate with Becky Fleck and CardMaps! So today I'm stopping by to share my card and more details on it with you! You can check out the rest of the info HERE.

Here is the sketch I was given to work with:

I've learned over time that I like sketches a lot more when I try less to follow them exactly to the letter, and embrace a bit more freedom in my approach. Before this, I really HATED working with sketches! Once I found I could use them a little more as a simple guideline and change them up to fit what I wanted to create, I enjoyed them a lot more! So you may notice some of the slight changes I made on my take on the sketch:

I started off by using the beautiful Folklore Die for my background, but instead of punching the design out, I adhered it all together on my card base. I then did some distress oxide ink blending over the top and bottom edges in an ombre pattern - I love how this makes the detail of the die pop out! I added some white paint splatters, and set it aside to dry.

I stamped the cute bears from Happy Hugs, colored with simple Copic marker colors, and die cut with the coordinating Happy Hugs Dies. I then added some die cut squares on the background, and added the bears over the top of that. Finished off with my sentiment stamped diagonally on another square, some jute twine, and a few enamel dots!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to share that I'm delighted to be continuing on with the Pinkfresh DT for the next term - and transitioning into a new roll on the Video Education Team! So excited! And check out all these fabulous faces that will be part of the team:

Kitty with Blanket - Heffy Doodle

Good morning! Well...I am WAY behind on sharing this card! Haha - it is one that I made for Heffy Doodle for Creativation last JANUARY! Even though it has sat for a while, I didn't want to miss sharing it, since I love this adorable little stamp set from Heffy Doodle called Mewniverse! It was the freebie with purchase at the time, but is now available to purchase on it's own.

I linked up as many as the supplies as I could at the bottom of my post - some of them I couldn't remember, like the Copic colors. That's what I get for waiting so long I suppose! But a pink kitty in a mint basket is so fun, don't you think?

On this one I added some little scraps of white felt to make a blanket for the kitty. Did some die cutting and layering of pattern paper as well.

I stamped the sentiment, then snipped it apart with scissors to mount on foam adhesive - just like the kitty. A bit of jute string at the top finished this off perfectly!
