Merry Christmas Holly Berry Border - SSS Making Spirits Bright Release!

Hello! The new Simon Says Stamp Making Spirits Bright release is LIVE in the store! I've definitely been singing Christmas songs the past couple days as I've played with it! Here a peek at a quick card I put together using some of the new stamps and dies:

I used a fun new border die called Holly Fanfare to create an inlaid decorative panel on my card. I die cut it in a panel of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock that I first die cut with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die. I then adhered it to a white cardbase, making sure to add lots of tape behind the border. I then die cut it again in red and green cardstock and paper pieced in the different colors. I heat embossed a sentiment from a FABULOUS new sentiment stamp set called Stained Glass Greetings. Such a gorgeous font and lovely add on words in this set! LOVE! I embossed the large "merry" directly on the panel in white, then the extra Christmas on a small strip of black cardstock that I trimmed out and popped up with a touch of foam adhesive. Finished off by adding some Tonic Studios Crystal Glaze on the berries - LOVE the added shine and dimension!

Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!

Baby Shower Elephant Invitations

Good morning! Dropping by real quick to share some baby shower invitations I made recently for my sis-in-law's baby shower. Fairly simple, but I'm pretty happy with how they came out!

I used Wplus9's Sunshine Layer Dies for the white panels, some Avery Elle pattern paper to die cut the elephants using a MME die, carefully added some Glossy Accents over the ear. I die cut it again out of fun foam, so It had some extra dimension, then added a bow using the clever Twine and Bows die from Pretty Pink Posh. Finished off with a sentiment that I printed off the computer on vellum and folded around the front panel. You can see the dimension on the elephant a little better in this photo:

Thanks so much for dropping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!

Giraffe Growing Family

Hello - stopping by with another card that I made just for fun recently using some new Altenew stamps I had been dying to get inky!

I made this primarily to play along with the Altenew August Challenge: From Places Abroad - United Kingdom with this inspiration photo:

There were so many things to pull as inspiration from this photo! I loved the woodgrain with the pops of yellow - and the lacy white edges. I used Altenew's newly released Baby Zoo stamp set- saw it and fell instantly in love! I stamped the giraffe 3 times in soft yellow MFT ink, then stamped the images over the top, stamping off each time for a softer effect. Added the sentiment and a couple of the little hearts from the same set, then rounded a couple corners. Layered under it some vellum, some Avery Elle pattern paper, a doily, and some MME woodgrain pattern paper - all machine stitched together, and the edges curled up a little for dimension.

Thanks for dropping by again - have a great day!

Tie-riffic with Avocado Arts

Good morning! I'm up on the Avocado Arts blog this morning to share some projects with the new stamp set for May called Tie-riffic! This is such a perfectly timed set, with Father's Day just around the corner:

I started off with the fun remote control - do you see the fun sentiments that are even on that?!?!?

I used Hero Arts ombre inks to stamp them, fussy cut them out, then attached with foam adhesive to my panel that I cut with a wave border from Lil' Inker's Border Builders Die Set. I also wrapped some jute twine around and knotted it in the front - a bit more masculine than a bow! Added my sentiment, then attached to my pattern paper with foam adhesive.

Next up, who could resist a fun recliner? :)

I stamped it on pattern paper, then fussy cut it out. Adhered it with foam adhesive to my card on which I had stamped my sentiment in two colors, and layered over a die cut oval (Lil Inker's Stitched Mats: Ovals) and a bit more pattern paper. Added a few enamel dots to finish this one off.

And finally, a super simple card - which usually means the perfect masculine card, right?

I simply stamped the Father's Day sentiment 3 times on a die cut tag (once again from Lil Inker's - Anytime Tags Die Set 2), added some string to the side, and attached to a woodgrain cardstock cardbase.

Masculine cards tend to come a bit harder for me, but this stamp set definitely made it easier! Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!

Lil' Inker Designs - May Monthly Meet Up

Hello! I'm excited to be joining in again with this month's Monthly Meetup Challenge at Lil' Inkers Designs!

The prize is pretty amazing, so I hope you will join in and play along with us!

First up, even though I know we are now past Mother's Day, I thought I would share one of the Mother's Day cards I made. This would work even for a birthday card for you mom, or just a thank you or note card at any time though!

I used the Mom Word Die for the center, paired up with the coordinating Mom & Dad Sentiments Stamp Set, then built the rest with the beautiful Really Rosemaling Stamps. I stamped them out in a soft gray and pink color combo, then die cut a border with Border Builders Die Set, wrapped and tied some jute twine around, and mounted on some pattern paper from Crate Paper. I'm always a sucker for woodgrain pattern paper!

Next up, it's that time of year to think of graduation cards already! I suddenly pictured this fun elephant with a graduation hat, and had to go for it!

I used one of the elephants from the fun new Party Pachyderms Stamps, and added the graduation hat from Smart Cookie - LOVE that it is the perfect size! I built a sentiment using I'm All You're All Stamp Set, and added the congrats from Smart Cookie, then die cut with the pinked edge from Border Builders Die Set, before mounting on some pattern paper from Avery Elle with a bit of black to tie it all together.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will join in and play along with the challenge - can't wait to see what you create! :)
