Baby Girl Shower Invites

Good morning! A couple weeks ago, I got an email from a friend of a friend asking if I could make 20 baby shower invitations - I was given that it was a girl and the colors were teal, cream, and coral - so I pulled out some product from several different companies and put these together (and someday I will learn that one or two - or FIVE - extra steps is a lot more work on twenty cards than on one!!!)

I was very grateful that my daughter offered to help me make these - she did a lot of the die cutting, and punching out the centers of the leaves and such that didn't fall out automatically. Helped it go a lot more quickly! And the best part? When she looked and me and said, "Mom, can you do me a favor? Can you stay crafty for a long time - then you can make baby shower invitations for me someday?" Okay...heart melted into one big puddle!

Here is the whole pile of them together:

And here are links to all the supplies I used on these - was kind of fun to mix and match from different manufacturers to put these together, I don't get to do that too often!

Thanks for stopping by - have a wonderful day!!!

Happy Birthday Pretty Pink Posh!!!

Good morning! So excited to be sharing in a special and fun blog hop today! We are celebrating Pretty Pink Posh's 2nd birthday!!! You should have arrived here from Wanda - if you just happened along and want to start at the beginning, head to the Pretty Pink Posh blog HERE!

There are prizes, sales, and a special free stamp set with orders - I hope you'll join the fun as we celebrate! I made a card using the free stamp set - as well as dies, stamps, sequins, and embellishments from Pretty Pink Posh to celebrate:

All my supplies are linked at the bottom if you are interested in what they are - I absolutely ADORE the scallop frames from PPP though - use them all the time! That cute little chickie was the perfect size for the umbrella from Rainy Days stamp set - I also used the clouds, sentiment, and hearts from that set. The little heart stamped on the umbrella? That is from the free set - and is a perfect fit! LOVE how well these sets work together!

I heat embossed the clouds, then did some ink blending. Next I stamped the hearts, and covered them with Glossy Accents to help them pop! The chick was colored with Copics, fussy cut out, and adhered with foam adhesive along with the umbrella. I added some Glossy Accents to the tummy, and stuck some Iridescent Mini Star Confetti on there - love that stuff! Finished off with a sprinkling of sequins, and a bit of Glossy Accents on the beak and feet of the chick. Here is a closer look at the dimension:

Here is the sale and giveaway info:

Here is the blog hop line-up in case you get lost - next stop is Nina-Marie!

And finally, here are links to the supplies I used on this card! Thanks for stopping by - and happy hopping!!!
