Pink and Main - Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Collaboration

 Hello again! Popping in today with the next in line of the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Exclusive Collaborations! It's hard to believe the month is more than half over! Today's collaboration is with Pink and Main, and is the cutest little holiday sweater set! I had fun pulling out my somewhat neglected Copic markers to color a couple of these cuties up!

I started off by stamping one of the sweaters from Warm and Fuzzy twice in black and clear heat embossing, then coloring those in with Copic markers (colors listed below!). I also stamped a sentiment, then die cut them all out. I stamped that same sweater a couple extra times on a white cardbase to create a fun background, then popped the colored sweaters and sentiment up with foam adhesive. I created a frame with Ivory glitter cardstock and an A2 Stitched Rectangle die, then added a generous sprinkle of coordinating enamel dots to add some extra color. For a final touch of sparkle, I added Nuvo glitter drops to the light bulbs on the sweaters - scroll to the bottom of the post to see how fun that touch is! Mama Elephant Cute Vintage Holiday - Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Collaboration

Hello! It's time for another Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Exclusive Collaboration, and today's is the ever adorable Mama Elephant brand! While this collaboration is perfect for little gift tags, I pulled out some other dies and pattern papers and created this happy card with a bit of a vintage twist!

I started off by stamping my image, sentiment, and multiples of that tiny cute heart from the Round Tag Friends set on some of the Polkadoodles Sparkling Christmas pattern papers. I heat embossed with clear embossing powder, and die cut the image, then selected another piece of pattern paper for the background. One of the Modern Teardrops dies made a perfect focal point, and I paired two of them together to create that black frame to put around it to help it pop. I also die cut the Delicate Leafy Branch from white cardstock, then directly inked that die cut piece with my Artichoke ink pad. I assembled everything together, added some white twine in a loopy bow, some Nuvo glitter drops to parts of the image, and a few coordinating enamel dots to finish! Here's a closer look:

Happy Birthday Card Trio - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Here with a sunny little set of birthday cards today featuring another set from Simon Says Stamp that I had been itching to use! I also used a fun color combo inspired by my youngest daughter. She came across something on social media with some fun color combos, and shared them with me. This one jumped out at me, and I had to put it to use!

I started off by stamping and white heat embossing the fun Birthday Love image onto 3 different colors of cardstock - Dark Chocolate, Honey, and Sea Glass. I then die cut them with the coordinating die. Since each one gave me 3 separate pieces, I decided to mix and match them to create 3 cards. You know how much I love making groups of cards, right? I added some texture to the background with the Birthday Sentiments embossing folder, using white cardstock to keep it from getting too busy. Then I arranged each of the fun images, popped them up on foam adhesive. I stamped and die cut the "birthday" word 3 times, and added that with thin adhesive foam strips to tie in with the "happy" on one of the images. I added a tiny bow of white twine, and a few coordinating enamel dots sprinkled around the card, as well as some Nuvo glitter drops added to little areas on each stamped image! Textured Hello - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today I'm dipping my toes a bit more into fall crafting, with a simple card featuring lots of neutrals and a pop of black and bold colors using supplies from Simon Says Stamp. I pulled out some older dies and paired them with a recently released embossing folder to create today's card!

I started off by die cutting some of the Eucalyptus Leaves die from black cardstock, and then from Lipstick, Orange Peel, and Ivory cardstocks. I cut a few of the colored leaves off the stems, and adhered them slightly offset over the black full pieces. This gave a shadow affect, and added some interesting layers to the pieces. I used the Bedazzled embossing folder on some more Ivory cardstock, trimmed the panel down, and used my distress tool to rough up the edges for some added texture. I arranged the leaves on the debossed side, then die cut the Simple Hello die from Honey Gold and black cardstock, and added those to that panel as well, again offsetting them for a shadow effect. I wrapped some May Arts Ivory twine around the card a few times and tied in a bow at an angle, then used foam adhesive to adhere it to an Ivory cardbase. I added some Nuvo glitter drops to one side of each of the Ivory leaves, then added a sprinkle of coordinating Enamel dots in a subtle cream tone to add some texture and neutral shine! Bold Butterflies Hello - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a fun and bold card using one of my favorite color combos - blue and yellow! My first kitchen when I moved out of my parent's house was decorated with these colors - the yellow was a bit softer than this card, and the blue was a bit bolder, but it still makes me a little nostalgic! I used some fun stamps, dies, cardstocks, and inks from Simon Says Stamp to pull it all together!

I started off by stamping a few of the Artsy Butterflies in black and heat embossing, before ink blending over them using the coordinating stencils and Marine, Cadette, and Royal inks, mixing the colors as needed, and varying them from light, to medium, to dark. I grabbed a panel of Honey cardstock, and blended the same color Honey ink on the top half of the panel - it's subtle, but adds a bit of a shadow effect and some interest. I die cut a few of the Winsome Branch die from white cardstock, and tucked them around where I was placing the butterflies, then softly blended a bit of the extra ink around the edges to blend them in a bit with the background and give them slightly less contrast. I adhered the butterflies just in the centers with liquid glue, leaving the wings to float free for dimension. I added some white splatters at this point over the entire panel, then added a thin mat of white cardstock, and of Island Blue cardstock to coordinate. Sentiment is from the A Little Artsy set, and popped up with foam adhesive. The finishing touch was a few Simple Stories enamel dots that almost blended in perfectly with the background, but add some more fun interest and texture! Here is a closer look:

Floral Arch Card Set - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today I'm using up leftovers from the cards I shared last night - die cut shapes are so fun to run through an embossing folder, and Simon Says Stamp has so many lovely ones! This one is from the newest release, and paired up with some of the new XL Reverse Sentiment strips, these cards came together so quickly and easily!

I had the die cut panels from A2 Stitched Arches die, cut from Lawn Fawn Schoolyard paper pack already, so I ran them through the new Alstroemeria Blooms embossing folder. I layered them with foam adhesive on my white cardbases, then added sentiments from the new Big Bold Headlines Reverse XL Sentiment Strips, cut with the XL EZ Strips Banners die. I rounded off the top two corners of each card to match the arch design, then finished off by tucking a few very closely coordinating enamel glitter dots on each card - they add a subtle bit of texture and interest!
