Cute Night Camping Scene cards - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I've got a couple cute little camping scene cards to share with you today! I'm using a fun newer stamp and die set from Simon Says Stamp that I hadn't had a chance to put to use yet, as well as an older stencil that I have wanted a chance to utilize!

For this cute little scene, I started off with the darling Cute Campers set. I trimmed a panel of white cardstock down to smaller than A2 (nothing too technical - haha!), and then stamped my images, leaving them going off the edges of the card. In hindsight - I wish I had either left the kitties tail more in the scene, or trimmed off a bit more, but I guess it just looks like it has a stubby tail! Haha! I then ink blended around the scene a little bit to create some background, and then created a starry night sky by stenciling over the top with Twinkle Stars stencil and Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste. I added more color to the scene using my Copic markers and some simple shading, then matted the panel with white, and popped on foam on Sage cardbases. Finished off with the sentiments, stamped and popped up with foam! Here is a closer look at these two cards:

Happy Snarky Father's Day - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today, in honor of Father's Day, I have a couple of fun and snarky cards for Dad! A bit of an explanation - my Dad LOVES any cards I've made with some of these snarky sayings, and always tells me I need to make more of those. And has some my mom had given him in the past that he still has. So...I specifically made these because I know he will absolutely love them. And while I'm sharing them actually on Father's Day - these sentiments are super versatile for those friends that just love something funny like this! Omit the "dad" and switch that out to "friend", "sister", "brother" - or whatever, and you can still have fun with them! All these supplies for these two cards are from Simon Says Stamp

For these cards, I started off with the Hip Hip Hooray set, and the Round of Appaws set. I stamped them both with Nocturne ink on watercolor paper, then colored them in with Altenew watercolors. Once they were done, I die cut with the coordinating dies. I arranged the images on my white cardbases, and planned where to stamp my sentiments using Playful Messages and Papa stamp sets. I used my MISTI to add the sentiments, then before adhering the critters, I added a simple little bit of grounding underneath each one with some warm gray Copic markers. I then added them each with foam adhesive! Here is a closer look at these:

Tulip Get Well Soon Tag - Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release

Hello! I've got another project to share today using the BRAND NEW You Are My Favorite Release from Simon Says Stamp - and instead of a card, I have a sweet little tag to share!

I love tulips - so I had to put this cute little image from the new I Love You a Bunch stamp set to work - and a tag seemed like the perfect place! I stamped with Copic friendly ink, then colored in with Copic markers (that have been neglected friends for far too long!). I used the adorable new Scalloped Floral Tag die, cutting the top part from Ivory glitter cardstock. I added some Ivory Faux Silk ribbon and a bit of Red Baker's Twine, a sentiment from Flowering Frame (another new stamp set), and a bit of sparkle to the blooms with Nuvo glitter drops in Blizzard! Here are more photos of this sweet tag:

Puppy Birthday Card Duo - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! This weekend I realized I need a couple of birthday cards for my adorable twin nephews, so I pulled out a mix of older and newer supplies from Simon Says Stamp, and made these cute puppy theme cards! I was so happy with how they turned out!

For these cards, I wanted to use the adorable new Round of Appaws set, but create birthday cards. So I pulled out a couple older birthday sentiment sets - Big Old Birthday and Best Year Yet. I started off by stamping and building my sentiments, using Artichoke ink for the large main sentiment, then stamping the additional ones in black. Next, I stamped the 3 puppies twice each, and several of the paw prints, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I grabbed the balloon from Best Year Yet, and stamped it in a placement directly next to the sentiments so I could pop the one puppy over it so it would look like it was holding the balloons. I paper pieced the balloons with Sage cardstock, then covered them with Glossy Accents to make them a little more realistic and shiny! I added some simple grounding with my gray Copic markers, and a touch of pink to each of the puppies cheeks, and then mounted them all with foam adhesive. Finally, tucked a few of the paw prints on each card, and mounted those panels on Sage cardbases to finish! Here is a closer look at each of these cards:

Hello Friend Sailboat - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I'm sharing a card today, and I took a bit of a dive back into some older supplies from Simon Says Stamp. I love how this simple little scene turned out!

The scene was mostly built with the older Your Light stamp set, colored in with my oft neglected Copic markers. I added the sentiment from Narwhal Friends stamp set, stamped in Cranberry and Dusk inks - gotta love a good color stamped sentiment! I added a torn edge along the left and bottom edges, tied some white Lawn Fawn hemp twine around the top, then adhered with foam adhesive on a Fog cardbase. Finished off with a few Prism dazzling gems, and a bit of Nuvo Glitter drops to enhance the clouds and the waves at the bottom! Here are more photos of the finished card:

Best Yeti - Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share another card using the newest January 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Get Yeti! This month's kit has the cutest little winter friends! The included stamp set by the same name features some cute yeti and snowman images and sentiments (there is also a coordinating die for this set available separately HERE). There is a fun embossing folder, little bonus die setadorable pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

I love this cute yeti, and thought it would be fun to place him on a snowy hillside! I used Drifting Stitches border die and some of the pattern paper in the kit to create that hillside. For the background, I used the included Illuminated Jacks embossing folder on white cardstock. I stamped the yeti from the stamp set in soft gray ink, colored with Copics, then restamped to ensure a nice crisp image. I die cut him with the coordinating die, and added him holding the little heart as well. I used scissors to cut a little separation in his legs, so it could add the look of him walking forward - such an easy and fun little touch! A bit of red bakers twine, a sentiment from the preprinted sentiments in the kit, and then I mounted it on a red cardbase. Added a few Sparkly Clear Gems to finish this card off! Here are more photos of the finished card:

Flower Jar Trio - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I'm popping in to share a card I created recently using a fun stamp and stencil set from Simon Says Stamp - it's been a minute since I pulled out my Copic markers - and with the included stencils for the vase, there was minimal coloring needed on this card, so it was perfect!

It's funny, because overall, this is a fairly simple card - and you can see that clean and simple design. But looking at the supply list, there was a lot happening on it! I stamped and gold heat embossed the floral jars from Garden Fresh stamp set, and then added color on each one using the Botanical Jars stencil set, and 3 colors of ink for each layer (all listed below in the supply list). I then colored the flowers with Copic markers, and stamped my sentiment at the top of the panel. I added some white gel pen accents, and adhered that panel to a white cardbase, curling up the outer edges a bit for dimension. To finish, I added Glossy Accents to the jars to add some texture, shine, and a bit of realism! Here are more photos of this card - scroll to the last one for a good look at the shine from the Glossy Accents!
