My Heart Trusts Wreath

Good morning! Dropping in with a card I made using some Reverse Confetti stamps, dies, ink, and cardstock!

I discovered that the wreath from Fall for You was a perfect fit around the opening of Leaves Cover Panel! And the sentiment from My Heart Trusts was the perfect fit in the circle opening as well! I die cut Leaves Cover Panel from Lime Cardstock, then stamped and white heat embossed the wreath from Fall for You on Sand Cardstock and die cut with the Coordinating Dies.

I added a couple of the flowers from Fall for You, colored blue to match the Reverse Confetti Navy ink I used to stamp my sentiment. Added a touch of Nuvo drops in the centers of those, and used a white colored pencil to accent some of the leaves on the wreath. Mounted the wreath with foam adhesive over the circle opening, and finished off with some jute twine tied around.

Star of Peace

Good morning! I'm back again this morning with another card using some of the new Simon Says Stamp Making Spirits Bright release! I used another one of the many galaxy backgrounds I made some time back and had been sitting on my desk just waiting for a home. As soon as I saw this die, I knew it would be the perfect use!

So hard to get great photos of this card - but it is so full of texture in real life! I die cut the larger star from the new Holy Stars Dies from the center of background, and then die cut it again from white fun foam to tuck behind it. I mounted the panel on a white cardbase, adding the foam layer behind the star to pop that section up.

I then added TWO nice thick layers of Tonic Crystal Glaze, allowing it to dry between layers. This made it SOOO fun and even more 3-dimension!

I heat embossed a sentiment from Stained Glass Greetings on a strip of vellum using Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing powder, then added one of the smaller sentiments from the set heat embossed in white on a thin strip of black cardstock. This allowed me to attach the thin black strip over the vellum with sturdy adhesive, then use that spot to hide the adhesive I used to attach it to the card base, tucking the top of the vellum under the bottom tip of the star.

That Stinks - Glimmery Watercolor Image

Good morning! Just happening by with another little catch up card that I made a couple weeks ago with one of the new Unity Stamp Company releases - these cuties are so fun!

I also have a Quick Tip video showing how I added some fun shine to this little cutie with embossing powder:

Can you see the bit of subtle sparkle?

I love punny sentiments as well - and this one is perfect with this image!

Pattern Paper, Paint Splatters, and Gold

Good morning! Dropping by this morning with a little card I made a little while back and never got actually posted here on the blog! It is using a fairly recent new release from Unity Stamp Company:

I also have a Quick Tip video that I made showing a bit of how I put this card together:

I love green and gold together! And the white splatters and bit of black for the sentiment work well to tie it all together as well.

LID Critter Christmas Cards

Good morning! Stopping by this morning with a couple more cards for the very recent Lil' Inker Designs Release - I ended up making so many projects with the new release that I didn't get to share them all for the blog hops. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this new Season's Greetings set so much though - so very adorable, fun, and super easy to use!

I made two cards - using my MISTI to stamp each part of the image so I could double stamp to get a nice dark and clear impression. I then watercolored them in with my Daniel Smith watercolors, using some fun non-traditional Christmas colors. I die cut the panels using Silly Stitched Die set, and mounted them on some fun pattern paper. Here is a closer look at each one:

As a finishing touch, I added several dots with some Nuvo Clear Glitter Drops, and then used those to cover part of the hat on each of them. Fun easy sparkle but still easy to mail! LOVE that!

Kind of Adore You a Lot - SSS November Card Kit

Good evening! I'm stopping by to share one more card with the BRAND NEW Kind Flowers November Card Kit for Simon Says Stamp that I somehow missed before! Sometimes I feel like I say it every month, but truly, this month's kit may be my favorite EVER! The stamp set - Kind Flowers - is HUGE and full of the most beautiful kindness sentiments you can imagine! And amazingly, this one is not sold out yet - so you still have time to nab it! :)

I created this simple black, white, and gold card using the pattern paper and stickers in the kit, paired up with a sentiment from the stamp set. I used the same trick as the other two cards for the bird sticker element - I peeled it off the backing, then applied powder with my Powder Tool until it wasn't sticky anymore. That way I could place it where I wanted, and add foam adhesive - like I did on this card! Sentiment was heat embossed with a bit of white on a thin strip of black cardstock, and I embellished with a few drops of Nuvo Ebony Black Crystal Drops to finish off.

Here is a look at the entire kit contents - you can find it HERE:

Fa-la-la Christmas Friend

Good morning! Popping by with a fun little Christmas shaker card I made using some Reverse Confetti stamps, dies, and pattern paper!

Something about shaker cards just feels festive - so add that to a Christmas card and it is pretty much perfect in my opinion!

I started off by die cutting Fa la la Circle Confetti cut using Premier White Cardstock for the cutout and small circle, then adding the larger scallop with Salsa Cardstock. I created the shaker and filled it with some lovely tiny Star Confetti from Pretty Pink Posh. The sentiment is from Christmas Bear, heat embossed in white on a strip of Midnight Cardstock - I trimmed the edges into a banner shape to fit. Finishing touch is some gorgeous pattern paper from last years Christmas release 6x6 paper pad Very Merry.

LID Christmas Release - Day 3

Hello! It's the third and final day of the blog hop to celebrate the fun new release at Lil' Inker Designs - a super fun mix of stamps and dies in this release! I'm back with more fun inspiration with some of the new dies this time! You should have arrived here from Chrissy Larson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. I also have links to all the new products I used on today's cards!

Today's cards feature some fun with letters and words! This first card I used the new Peace, Love, & Joy stamp set - a fun set that has two part stamping options for the letters to build these three words. I couldn't choose just one, so I used all 3 on my card! It's hard to see, but I used the smaller part of each letter to stamp in Delicata Gold Pigment Ink - which adds a subtle shine.

To emphasize the words, I added "joy" and "peace" from Rustic Christmas underneath their respective words, and since I couldn't find "love" in the same font I added some little hearts from Greetings & Salutations to reinforce that word in a visual way.

Next up, I used the FABULOUS new Joy to the World Stamp set - this one is PERFECT for making Christmas cards with a simple focal point!

I heat embossed it with some fabulous new Lawn Fawn Rose Gold Embossing powder that I picked up recently and hadn't had a chance to try - LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I added some pattern paper to the top and bottom trimmed with Border Builders Die Set, and tied on a bit of jute twine to finish off.

It was hard to capture it with a photo, but check out the pretty shine this has:

Your next stop along the blog hop is Jennifer Carter - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping.

And now the really fun part! One lucky person is going to win THE ENTIRE RELEASE! Winner will be chosen from comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!
