So Nice of You - Pinkfresh Embroidered Blooms

Hello! I'm stopping by today to share details on another card using Pinkfresh Studio's BRAND NEW January Release! This is somewhat similar to a card I shared last week - but I used more of the florals and spread them out over the entire card front - and added a larger sentiment!

I used the same colors of Altenew ink as the previous card - adding one deeper shade for contrast.

I actually stamped my large sentiment from Scripted Bold Sentiments 1 first, and added the tiny sentiment underneath from Heart and Soul stamp set.

Then I built the floral images around that using Embroidered Blossoms stamp set! This is a truly one layer card too, so perfect for mailing!

So Thoughtful - Pinkfresh Embroidered Blossoms

Good morning! I'm stopping by this morning to share details on another card using Pinkfresh Studio's BRAND NEW January Release! This was my proto-type for the second card I did Make and Take's with at Creativation. It was such a fun card to put together there, and I had so much fun hanging out with everyone who stopped by to create their own!

This card was actually super easy to create using the beautiful Embroidered Blossoms stamp set. At Creativation I set it up with 3 different MISTI's, so it was easy to stamp and just change the color arrangment. So, this would be perfect for making a card set or something similar for gifts or thank you cards!

I used 3 shades of Altenew ink for this card - Blush, Rouge, and Bamboo. This could have easily been a one layer card, but just for a touch of interest.

The sentiment on this came from the lovely Heart and Soul stamp set - so many perfect sentiments in this set!

Love you More - Lil' Inker Designs

Hello! I'm stopping by with a card and sale announcement - both for Lil' Inker Designs! I thought it would be fun to share a bright, happy, and nearly one layer card featuring an older stamp set - Love You More!

I used some Altenew dye inks in 3 colors - Mango Smoothie, Cotton Candy, and Peach Perfect - to stamp one of the large heart images. I then used those same inks to stamp several of the smaller hearts scattered around the card front.

I used several of the sentiments from the stamp set - plus the one tiny envelope from Farm Love tucked on there as well!

I added some iridescent Nuvo Dream Drops (I brought them home from Creativation - I don't think they have released yet, but I know they are coming soon!) - then mounted on a soft pink cardbase. Super quick and fun - and I love how dreamy the color combination is!

And here is the promised sale info! You can get the adorable Love You Much Border Die FREE with a $25 purchase! No coupon code needed, so head HERE to shop!

LID January Release Day 2 - All the Hearts

Hello! Welcome to the second day blog hop of the BRAND NEW January release at Lil' Inker Designs! Such fun products in this release - totally full of love and Valentine's Day goodness! You can find the entire new release HERE!

I have two cards to share today - both featuring hearts and lots of pink! I'm using two products in particular that are made to coordinate perfectly together, but also work very well on their own - the Perfect Palette Heart Cover Die and Heartthrob Stamp Set!

For this first card, I used the Perfect Palette Heart Cover Die. Once I removed all the hearts, I blended two different colors of distress oxide ink over the top and bottom edges for an ombre effect. I then used it to place just the alternating stitched dies behind their respective windows on my white cardbase, then popped that front panel up with foam adhesive.

I then die cut the beautiful With Love Word Die from gray cardstock and white cardstock and layered them together for a slightly sturdier embellishment. I added some detail with a white gel pen to make them look a little more dimensional, then after wrapping some twine around my cardfront, I attached the sentiment with a touch of foam adhesive and tied my bow around the first letter to make it look like it was tied on.

I absolutely love this soft color combo of white, pink, and gray!

For the next card, I used the fun and graphic Heartthrob Stamp set to create a super clean and simple design!

Want to know the secret for how I lined these hearts up so perfectly? I actually die cut one corner of the Perfect Palette Heart Cover Die from a piece of scrap paper, trimming it so that I had just the window for four hearts. I lined it up on the front of my card, holding it in place with removable tape. Once I used it as a window to stamp the hearts in place, I removed it and stamped my sentiment underneath!

I used the solid half of the hearts from Heartthrob to stamp in a softer pink color, then three of the different stylized elements to stamp in a deeper shade of pink. I love the graphic feel this gives!

I'm always a sucker for a good CAS card - I feel like they are a little tough for me to pull off, so I'm always happy when I find a design like this that I like!

Balloons and Presents - Winnie and Walter Rerun Challenge

Good morning! Today is the start of a new Rerun Feature and Challenge at Winnie and Walter - this month our featured set is The Party - a classic birthday card stamp set! I have two cards to share - starting off with a rainbow of balloons!

I used several Altenew Inks to stamp the balloons - using the rock and roll technique and two shades of ink to get an ombre effect on each balloon. It's a little tough to see in the photos - but I promise it's there! I also used white pigment ink to add the reflection on each balloon, and some gray in k to add the strings and bows.

I added a sentiment from Sentimental: Birthday - a perfect accompaniment to The Party - and then used a bunch of Nuvo Jewel Drops to add some confetti all around! This is a cute little notecard size card - about 4x4 inches, the perfect size to feature these balloons!

Since I was having so much fun - I decided to make another card!

For this one I created a single mask using the gift image, and then stamped from the bottom up, masking each one as I went, to create a border of presents. I added a sentiment from The Party as well, and watercolored the image in.

I finished off with some Nuvo Crystal Glaze on all those bright red bows - just to add a bit of shine, and it was the perfect touch!

In a Word: Thanks - Winnie and Walter Special Set

Good morning! Stopping by this morning to share a couple cards using a brand new special Winnie and Walter Black Friday stamp set - free this weekend only through Cyber Monday with any $35 or greater purchase - and all in stock items are 15% off as well! This is is such a great thank you stamp set - definitely one you are going to want to have in your stash! You can find full details on the Winnie and Walter Blog!

For my first card I used a full set of Altnew inks to stamp the same sentiment in gradient colors for an ombre effect. I trimmed it slightly smaller than my green card base and let it peek out from one side. I added a few coordinating Nuvo drops to finish off and add a bit of texture.

Next up, I chose another of the large "thanks" sentiments and gave it the watercolor treatment!

Hard to see in the photos, but once I added a watercolor wash around the image, I covered it with Glossy Accents. For this one I used an orange cardbase and let it peek out on the opposite side.

Hello! Today is a hop to celebrate a new mini release at Lil' Inker Designs - two stamp sets and a coordinating die that will be available (and ON SALE) on Friday in celebration of Black Friday! There will also be a ton of other sets marked at fabulous discounts that you will definitely want to check out!

First up - I'm loving this darling new unicorn that is part of the new Magical Winter Stamp set - SOOO cute!

I stamped one of the unicorns up with the gift stamp and some of the snowflakes, and cut them out with their coordinating Magical Winter Dies. Colored the unicorn, and heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of pattern paper, Added some torn white paper behind and mounted that on some more pattern paper, then attached the unicorn with foam adhesive, and the snowflakes in the centers, curling up the edges for a bit of dimension. Added some Nuvo drops to the center of the snowflakes, some glittery ones on the horn, hooves, and gift the unicorn is holding, and some white ones sprinkled around the finish it off!

Next up, a clean and simple one layer card using some of the fabulous patterns from the new Unstoppable stamp set - so unique and versatile! Not to mention fun! :)

I used pigment ink to stamp a fun random background, then stamped the sentiment 3 times over the top with Versafine ink. It just felt like it needed to be stated 3 times, so that's what I did!

Your next stop along the blog hop is Jennifer Carter - head over there next to finish the hop and be ready to shop on Friday - I will be back with another card then using both of these sets! Can we say unicorn on an action wobble?!?!?!? ;)

And then I had to use some more of the fun sentiments for another card! Who else can relate to these sentiments? Haha!

I stamped it on a tag cut with Fringe Scalloped Tags Dies, and added some fun plaid paper die cut with Silly Stitched Dies. The pattern paper keeps this one interesting, but it was super simple to put together!
