Springtime Butterfly - Pretty Pink Posh March Release Blog Hop Day 3

Good morning! I'm so excited today to be joining Day 3 of the release blog hop for the March Pretty Pink Posh release. It's such a fun spring theme release, and I was super excited to play with all the cuteness included! Keep reading for more details on my cards, as well as hop and giveaway info at the bottom! 

I decided to layer up some pattern paper and die cut elements for my card to share today. I used the lovely new Pierced Leafy Vines coverplate on some pattern paper - it isn't as clear on it, but does add some fun texture, which was nice! I also ran it through my die cut machine with a piece of a bubble mailer - this actually poked complete holes through on some of the places, instead of just embossed texture. I used a paper piercer to finish that, which helped make the pattern a bit more apparent on the pattern paper. I layered up two of the new Eyelet Circles dies, one cut from ivory glitter paper, and one cut from white cardstock. I used a bit of thin foam adhesive between the layers. Next up, I chose a few of the butterflies from the new Stitched Butterflies dies, and cut them from more pattern paper, including the body of the butterfly. I layered them up with a touch of liquid glue in just the centers, and then also adhered just the center of the entire butterfly onto my circle panel with liquid glue. Leaving the wings floating free helps add even more dimension! I finished off with a sentiment from the new Sentiment Strips: Easter stamp set, trimmed into a banner shape. When I chose my pattern paper, I grabbed the newest 6x6 pattern paper pad from Pinkfresh Studio - so new, that I didn't realize it was available for purchase yet, but the wait is short, I promise! It is from the Picture Perfect collection, and will be released on Monday, March 11th. :)
