Anniversary Card

Good morning! Yesterday was my Mother and Father-in-law's anniversary, and I wanted to make them a special card. I had seen the sketch over at Random Acts of Creativity, and thought it was so beautiful - so I decided to use it for my card. Here is my take on the sketch:

Here is the sketch:

The corner doily shape is cut with my Cricut from Elegant Edges. The banner is hand cut, and the I inked the edges of everything. The flower image is a Unity Stamp, with a bit of Stickles added for some sparkle! The sentiment was one from my stash - by Fiskars I think. This pictures shows the glitter on the flowers best:

I added some pretty lace, some machine stitching, a few stick on pearls, and some sheer ribbon to finish it off. Thanks for stopping by!!!

  1. What a stunning card! All the elements of this card just came together beautifully! Your papers are just so pretty and that lace adds such a nice vintage feel to your card. And that banner is it!

  2. Oh wow, stunning is right! Love this card! I love your die-cut circle, the lace and the stamping, just fabulous!
