Good morning! So...it's funny how life can sometimes be a whirlwind! I know I mentioned that we were on vacation in Hawaii, and I came home to a WHOLE pile of Design Team work that I needed to get caught up (or ahead on since we will be out of town for a week again in June!).
Anyway, I woke up Saturday morning to a little message on Facebook from Angela Magnuson...much to my surprise and delight, asking if I wanted to join the Unity Design Team!!! Ummmm...YES!!! And unlike most Design Teams I've been asked to join, I didn't have to keep it a secret until it was revealed - she posted it on the Unity Facebook page very quickly that morning! Bit of a whirlwind, but a wonderful whirlwind! To be honest, I don't think it really sunk in completely until I added the watermark to these first project photos! :)
So, back to all that DT work. I kept wanting to sit down and make a card and compose a post to share it here on my blog, and I just simply didn't have time for a couple days. But...I was able to play with the new release just in time to join in with the Thursday hop this week! YAY!
There are a BUNCH of fabulous new stamps releasing...I hardly knew where to start! But as soon as I saw this new stamp set, I just knew I had to color it up! LOVE the vintage feel it had, and totally went with that as I colored it up!
I die cut my panel using a Mama Elephant scallop die, added strip of glitter washi tape, a bit of jute twine, and a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh clear sparkly sequins. The edges of all the paper have some distress ink applied to soften the stark white edges.
Next up - this little girl just makes me smile! I have two daughters, and so many more nieces (real or unofficial!) than I can count!
I went with bright summery colors on this one, cut the image out free-hand, and added some enamel dots to finish it off.
Here is a look at the images I used:
And of course, we have TWO amazing Unity filled prize packages to giveaway. Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win. The winners will be announced Monday night on the Unity blog. Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
