Good morning! Today is the start of a new Rerun Feature and Challenge at Winnie and Walter - this month our featured set is Parentville! Pretty much perfect timing with Mother's Day right around the corner, and Father's Day not far behind that! I picked a simple layout for a card, and then used it to create both a feminine and masculine version! I used Essentials: Lana Cutaways for the center panel on both cards.
For the Mom version, I stamped my sentiment and embellishment image in blue ink, then by lining it up in my MISTI stamped again over the top with Embossing ink and sprinkled on sparkly clear embossing powder. I used lace behind to add even more of a feminine touch and some lovely floral paper.
The Dad version I did the same thing, but just heat embossed with plain clear embossing powder instead of sparkly - and used pattern paper to create my layers. I also did a simpler jute twine bow on this one.
Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
I love your gorgeous rerun cards, Heather!! Your lovely use of the patterned paper backgrounds perfectly set off the beautiful sentiment panels. I like how the notched edges of Essentials: Lana Cutaways make a nice way to keep the twine and ribbon in place for your bows. I don't have that set....yet! :) Thank you for sharing your cards.
