Firehouse Thanks

Good morning! A few weeks ago, my sister (who is a volunteer firefighter on one of our local small town fire departments) asked me if I could make her a thank you card for her department as a thank you for a local business who had donated something to them. So...I pulled out my thinking cap, and my Altenew Halftone Thanks stamp set, and put together this simple card!

I pulled out some older pattern papers from my stash of scraps (I think one is Simple Stories and one is Basic Grey, but I'm not certain) - and added a torn edge to both before layering them up. I stamped the thanks above that, then heat embossed the extra sentient in white on a strip of black cardstock - trimming off the "I" so that it worked for a group - and mounted that with a touch of foam. Finished off with a few Metallic Silver Confetti from Pretty Pink Posh, and a bit of black jute twine tied in a knot, trimmed, and frayed a bit at the ends.

Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
