Good morning! I'm delighted this morning to be sharing I will be continuing on with the Pretty Pink Posh Design Team for another term, alongside a lot of very talented and lovely ladies (some new, and some familiar faces). Make sure and check out the entire announcement on the Pretty Pink Posh blog today, with a GIVEAWAY to celebrate! The PPP Store will be re-opening in just a couple days, and there is a fabulous new release just around the corner as well! I'm also gearing up to teach another PPP card class with my friend and teamie Crystal Thompson at Impress Rubber Stamps in Seattle. In short - tons of wonderful things just around the corner!
To celebrate - I thought I'd share a new card I put together a few days ago, featuring some of my favorites from the most recent release, and a few oldies but goodies!
I used Scallop Circles to cut a shiny gold frame, then die cut it in white to fit in the frame to go on my lovely gingham pattern paper. I stamped several roses from Wild Roses, then colored them in a soft yellow, then colored some leaves as well. Those were all cut with the coordinating die cuts, then layered on my frame until I was happy with the arrangement. At this point, I used Press and Seal to pick up the flowers, and then stamped my sentiment from Thoughtful Greetings in the middle after lining it up with my MISTI.
I adhered the center frame with foam adhesive on my pattern paper, then adhered the roses back down, adding foam adhesive around the edges, and tape under the part on the frame. I curled up the edges of the petals just a touch for dimension, then added some Metallic Gold Confetti sprinkled around for just a touch more sparkle!
