Hello! Welcome back to the third and final day of of a fun new release at Lil' Inker Designs - and it's time to break out the love and Valentine's theme cards - as well as the ever needed birthday cards like I made for today! You should have arrived here from Chrissy Larson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. I also have links to all the new products I used on today's cards!
For today's card, I went soft and simple - and tried my hand at a bit of no-line style coloring. I don't feel super good at it yet, but it is definitely better than my first attempt at least!
I started by stamping the large floral heart from Love and Honey stamps with SSS Barely Beige Ink, then die cut the word love with Love is Love Dies. I then colored the remaining part of the image with the words removed. I reattached those letters, popped up with foam adhesive, then covered them in with a nice thick coating of Crystal Glaze - actually two layers, allowing them to dry in between!. Finished off with a sentiment from Love is Love stamps - I masked off the small "love" from the stamped sentiment so that it would work well with the large die.
Your next stop along the blog hop is Jennifer Carter - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!
And now the really fun part! One lucky person is going to win THE ENTIRE RELEASE! Winner will be chosen from comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!
Here is the entire Blog Hop line-up - make sure and check out each stop and leave your comments:
