You Are Loved - Winnie and Walter Rerun Challenge

Good morning! Today is the start of a new Rerun Feature and Challenge at Winnie and Walter - this month our featured set is the super sweet Happy Dance with Evelin T Designs!

For my bright happy and springy card, I decided to pull out my kraft cardstock and colored pencils! I stamped the bunny and sentiment in a neutral ink color, then colored with my Polychromos pencils. Since I left the image and sentiment lined up in my MISTI, I was then able to restamp over it with the same ink. That was all I planned to do, but I decided I wanted to add some shine to the image, so I stamped yet one more time with clear embossing ink, then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I love how it kept the colors neutral, but adding a lovely shine!

I die cut that panel using the new Essentials: Tilda Cutaways, then used the new Scenery: Pennsylvania Polka Creative Screenings stencil on the background with more clear embossing ink, then heat embossed those in the same clear powder. Finally, I mounted that front panel with foam adhesive over the top. Look at the fun subtle shine this card has:

  3. Love coloured pencils on kraft but hardly ever do it myself. Perhaps its time to pull those pencils back out!

  4. At first I thought you had embossed with gold, because of the shine, but after I read your post, found out it was clear embossing powder! Love this look!
