Good morning! I recently acquired a Glimmer Hot Foil machine, and as I've begun to dabble in hot foiling, well...let's just say I kind of LOVE it! So I was super excited to be invited to work with some of the gorgeous Yana's Blooming Birthday Collection from Spellbinders. SOOO gorgeous, fun, and easy to use! Hot foil is a bit tricky to capture in photos - but I've done my best below to give you a peek at how stunning it is in person!
I was fairly giddy when I discovered some new cardstock I had picked up recently - Lawn Fawn Gold Rush - would foil so beautifully! It has just a perfect hint of gold and sparkle to the cardstock - and adding the foiling just takes it to the next level! I used that gorgeous Glimmering Peony and Gold foil - and immediately thought it looked like a perfect card for a wedding.
I used a sentiment from Yana's Special Sentiments, hot foiled in gold on black cardstock and cut out with the matching die, and popped that up with foam over the trimmed down panel with the florals on it.
I matted that panel with black cardstock before mounting with foam on a white cardbase, then finished off with a couple gold sequins - because there just wasn't enough gold on this card, right? Haha!
