MFT Getting Sketchy #59 - A Simple and Sweet Card

Okay - when I started this card, I actually planned on paper piecing and coloring the whole thing, but when I put her on the papers I chose, I just couldn't get over how sweet and simple it looked - so I did do anything else to it! I made this card for the My Favorite Things Getting Sketchy #59:
And here is the sketch I followed:

I used (once again) one of the Pure Innocence line of stamps from My Favorite Things.
The papers are all from a Theresa Collins 6x6 paper stack called Spring Fling.
I added some machine stitching in two different colors of thread (and I think I must be getting older...'cause it's getting harder and harder to thread that stinkin' little needle!)
I also inked the edges of everything with Tim Holtz distress ink in Antique Linen.
The final piece, the banner, was just hand-trimmed and stamped with the sentiment.
And that's it! I just love when I card comes together that quickly and easily!!!
Thanks for stopping by today! I can't wait to share some of the stuff I have been working on this week with you! Wait until you see the adorable new Peachy Keen stamps!!! Made me totally SQUEAL when I saw them! You will LOVE them - I promise!!!
