Hello! I have been wanting to join in with the Papertrey Ink 5th Anniversary Challenges - and finally made it for one today! This is for Day 4 - Color Combos. It was actually a very quick and simple card - I love how it came out! Here it is:
Here is the color combo I chose, by Lisa Johnson:
I used pretty much everything from Papertrey ink, except the corner rounder, the edge punch, and the kraft cardstock...only because I didn't have any from PTI. Next on the list I guess, huh?
The stamp was one that came as a freebie in the last order I placed - isn't it gorgeous?
It is all one piece, and I just used my little cubes in Poppy, Aqua, and Spring Moss to ink it up very carefully in the different colors. Then I trimmed matching cardstock to mat it, and used a Fiskar's edge punch along the bottom edge of each.
Finished off by rounding the top two corners, and tied some PTI jute button twine around in a cute bow.
I don't think you've seen the last of me today! But hope you are having a fabulous day so far!
Simple but striking card! Love the way you have incorporated the color combo into your stamping! Beautiful:)
ReplyDeleteThis is just amazing! I totally agree that it's very striking! The color choices are perfect and I love the hard work you put into using the different colors on the stamp. That is something that I have always struggled with. So beautiful!!!
