A little guest designer - my oldest daughter!

Good morning! I'm so happy to share with you a couple of cards made by a very special guest designer - my oldest daughter, Katie! I have to say I am very proud of her - she completely came up with the ideas for these cards - design, sentiment, and all! Here is her first one - she used a sticker (the ice cream), some ribbon she bought from Michaels, some older paper scraps, and some Cosmo Cricket tiny alphas for her sentiment:
For her next card, she raided my garbage can by my scrap area (my kids do that ALL the time!) She took the negative of one of my Cricut cuts, traced it onto the paper she wanted, and hand cut it out. She then used a scrap that I had stamped with a Unity sentiment and not used, some more of her ribbon, and a couple of stick on pearls from my stash.
She has been begging me to share these with my blog readers - so leave her a comment and let her know what you think! I will make sure and share it with her - and she will be delighted to hear your comments! Thanks so much!

I am also linking this up with this week Simon Says Stamp Challenge - For Kids!

  3. Katie, you are developing into a great cardmaker just like your Mom! My favorite card is the You Are My Sweet Treat card! Both cards look great! Love your choice of color and papers. You are a good learner, and your Mom is a good teacher!
