Hello again! We've reached the 3rd and final day of sneak peeks for the new release at Lil' Inker Designs! So excited to share the last of the fun projects I have been working on with the new goodies - absolutely LOVE them!!!
It's probably obvious by now that I LOVE the pineapples! I had to play with one more way to use them on this card:
For this one, I used an embossing pad to emboss with the Pineapple Panache Die - leaving a inlaid outline of the pineapple shape. Then, I used my Zig watercolor pens to coloring in the image, and add some grounding underneath it. It was also super easy to stamp the sentiment from Greetings and Salutations over the top and not have an of it not make a clear impression. I'm so pleased with how well it worked! Also used Stitched Mats: Circles to partially die cut a circle, then added some layers of Crate Paper pattern paper, some gold and black Heidi Swapp Color Shine splatters, a few Pretty Pink Posh gold sequins, and a tiny paper clip with some jute twine.
Here are the new releases I used for this card:
Next up - this sentiment cracked me up the minute I saw it - and I totally envisioned a snail leaving a slime trail behind it! Just HAD to do it! :)
I started off with a strip of vellum with torn edges, and heat embossed the sentiment using Snailed It Stamp Set. Added a good thick coat of Glossy Accents to make the "slime" trail, then gave that plenty of time to dry. The snail was die cut with Snailed It Dies and stamped, then adhered over the top. I added a tiny strip of white paper under the vellum to ground the image.
Here are the new goodies used for this card:
And now the fun part! There is, of course, a chance to win some shopping money to spend on the new goodies! YAY!
Here is the entire Blog Hop line-up - leave a comment for a chance to win one of three $15 gift certificates that Laura is giving away to celebrate the new release!

THANK YOU for sharing your CREATIVE INSPIRATION!!!
Great cards...love the use of watercolour on the first.
ReplyDeleteLove the layering on the pineapple card. The paper really picks up the theme with their designs.
ReplyDeleteThe second card is fun. My daughter often sees the trails and freaks - she can't stand slugs. (she's only 50+)
so the sentiment is appropriate.
