Good morning! So...I've been so busy posting fall and Christmas type cards, that I thought it would be fun to break out some supplies to make a completely different theme card! This would work for Valentine's Day, or any other day just because! This is a set that released earlier this year from Simon Says Stamp, and I hadn't had a chance to break out and use yet - so now seemed like a good opportunity!
I started off by making a messy watercolor background. While that dried, I colored the little girl with Copic markers, then fussy cut her out (since I don't happen to have the coordinating dies!) I heat embossed a sentiment on a strip of black cardstock, and adhered that to the watercolor paper, and added the girl with foam adhesive. I coated the heart, dress, and socks with Wink of Stella (as always, so hard to see in the photos!), then added Glossy Accents to the heart. Added a sprinkle of clear sequins, and then colored a scrap of white cardstock with the same Copics I used to color the heart (for a perfect match!) to die cut the bow and add a little strip under the sentiment.
Here are all the supplies that I used for this card - thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
LOVE!!
