Good morning! Yesterday I was able to finally sit down and play with the new Forest Friends stamp set - a collaboration between Simon Says Stamp and Reverse Confetti for STAMPtember - SOOOO totally darling! I had planned on posting the card yesterday, but when I sat down to take photos, I had a completely dead camera battery. Once it charged, I was still fortunate enough to get photos taken, but didn't have time to write up and post until later in the evening - so I figured I would just schedule the post for this morning!
I had fun using a Fall 6x6 pattern paper pad from Echo Park to paper piece my scene - as soon as I saw the stamp set, I KNEW the fox would be the first thing I played with! I fussy cut him out very carefully, and paper pieced him together, then did the same with the clouds in the background.
I added Glossy Accents to the nose and eyes - and assembled my layers with lots of dimension as you can see in this photo - foam tape was my friend! Haha!
I used a couple of other Reverse Confetti dies - linked at the bottom of this post. A little jute twine was the final finishing embellishment touch.
Here is a look at the entire set - you can find it HERE in the Simon Says Stamp Store:
