The brand new Simon Says Stamp Card Kit for December - Merry and Bright is live, and it is a SUPER fun one! I'll be back with a card soon that uses some of my favorites from the kit, but wanted to give you a quick peek this evening of a card using some of the fun elements from the kits, but not even touching the stamp set!
For this card I started off by making a card base from some of the SSS Schoolhouse Red Cardstock included in the kit, and added some white paint splatters to it. I tore some strips of the piece of SSS Vellum - also included in the kit - and then layered some scraps of some of the adorable pattern paper included.
Then, it was just a matter of adding some of the Doodlebug embellishments, the sentiments that were trimmed from the cute pattern papers, and voila! A simple card with no stamping - AND, if you leave off the candy cane, it is actually a card that would work well beyond Christmas time too!
