Good morning! Dropping by with a card this morning that uses a new stamp set from Simon Says Stamp's Hey Love release, and then an older doily die that I didn't realize was retired until I finished my card! Oops - sorry about that! I figured I'd share it anyway, since I'm sure there are other dies that could be substituted - and I was so in love with how this card came out (no pun intended!)!
I used the new Hey Love Stamp Set, heat embossing the large "love" in black on vellum, then fussy cutting out - which is super easy with vellum since it cuts so easy! I heat embossed the rest of the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock, and layered them both on the heart doily.
This pattern paper may look watercolored - but it is actually from a Crate Paper 6x6 Heart Day Paper Pad. I did add a few splatters to the paper with some Heidi Swapp Color Shine, before adhering the heart over the top with foam adhesive.
Product links are all below (except for the discontinued heart doily die) - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
What a sweet card/Valentine Heather. I love that heart die.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card, Heather! I love the crispness that the splatter adds to the paper and the doily heart is just lovely.
