Pretty Pink Posh - May Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Good morning! Today is the second day of the hop to celebrate the new Pretty Pink Posh May Release - SOOOO many fun new stamps, dies, and of course, embellishments!

I couldn't resist breaking out the DARLING new Woodland Critters stamp set. This one is out of stock as I'm writing this, but I know Paulina is working hard to get more of them. I'm not surprised that they were so popular this release - they are truly darling! I made a trio of cards using some of the smaller elements in the set:

I basically stamped out a ton of images on some smooth watercolor cardstock, colored them with my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers, then die cut them with the coordinating Woodland Critter Dies and arranged them in cute little scenes. On this first one, I used a Scallop Circle Tag - also part of the new releases.

On each one I added a sentiment with the beautiful new sentiment set, Thoughtful Greetings - which has also been popular and is out of stock as I write this post (again, no surprise)! I also discovered on this next card that the new Scallop Hexagon Dies are a PERFECT fit over the previously released Stitched Hexagons. LOVE this, because it allowed me to cut the scallop as a frame and have them fit together perfectly!

On each card base, I added some white paint splatters for interest before adhering my scenes with foam tape. I also punched a hole or two in each die cut shape to thread through some jute twine. The rustic feel of the twine was the perfect accompaniment to the woodland critters.

Ack...these critters are SOOO stinkin' cute! I just can't get enough of them! I can't wait to play with them even more!
