Ombre Stripe Birthday Cards - Winnie and Walter Rerun Challenge

Good morning! Today is the start of a new Rerun Feature and Challenge at Winnie and Walter - this month our featured set is Scenery: Stripes - such a fun and versatile set! I used it to create a couple of ombre toned birthday cards:

For these I decided to use my recently purchased Altenew inks - because they are in color blending sets, it made it SUPER easy to make these. I lined them up the widest stripe in my MISTI, then started with the lightest color and continued building, overlapping about a third of the stripe each time. Using my MISTI also allowed me to stamp each color a couple times to make sure I had perfect coverage on the stripes.

Once I had my stripes, I added some sentiments from The Party and a few of the little sketchy hearts and stars using Sketchy Thoughts. I then die cut the front panel with Essentials: Lana Cutaways - love that postage stamp shape!

Finished off by matting them both with a coordinating cardstock to help the colors pop even more!

Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
