Sunflower Frame 2 Ways - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a couple of cards using some of the Believe in You Release from Simon Says Stamp - it was the most recent release last month! I actually created these cards right around the release time, then for some reason never got around to sharing them here - so, better late than never, right?

These were kind of a two part design - sort of on accident also! I really only was planning on one card, but then ended up using my leftovers for a second card...and that card ended up being my favorite of the two! Go figure!

The first card was created by die cutting the Sunflower Frame Wafer Die from white cardstock, spraying the back with Pixie Spray to hold it in place, then using it as a stencil on a white cardbase to apply some Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink over the top.

Once I peeled it off, I started looking at it, and thought: "Hey - I could use THAT on a card too!" So I blended a soft background on another white cardbase with a bit of Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink, added some splatters of the same color by smooshing it on a clear block and picking up with a wet brush to flick on my background, and a few white paint splatters. Once that dried, I added a bit more liquid adhesive to the back of this die cut, and adhered it over the top.

Finished off both of these cards with a sentiment from a new CZ Design stamp set from the release - Clean Line Everyday sentiment stamp set. Both are either one layer, or nearly one layer, and nice and flat and easy to pop in the mail as well!
