Good morning! I'm dropping by to share another card using the Be Creative Release from Simon Says Stamp! Lots of fun items in this release - particularly exciting for me were a few birthday sets, and since that is the card I use and am asked for the most, I was so happy to be able to create some cards to build my stash! Today I'm still using the same two sets as the first card I shared a few days ago, but this time with a totally different look!
This time, I stamped the Bunch of Balloons cling background stamp on Peacock cardstock, and heat embossed in white to create a crisp background.
I felt like it just didn't pop enough, so I grabbed a Copic marker in a slightly darker shade than the cardstock, and added a simple outline to just 3 of the balloons and their strings. This just helped highlight those ones so well!
I trimmed the panel down to almost an A2 card panel, taking a bit extra off one side, and mounting it on my white cardbase allowing the extra white on the right to show. Just a little bit of extra interest!
I stamped the same sentiment I used before, but this time in black on white cardstock, and trimmed it into a thin strip to pop up with foam adhesive on the background. Then finished off with a few of the flat back sequins from the new Lucky Charm Sequin mix!
