It's Friday - which means it's time for another Cricut 360 post! This week the theme is Travel...boats, planes, cars, trains - anything that makes you think of traveling! Make sure to click over and link your post for a chance to win this weeks prize!
For my card, I had been dying to try out my newest Circle Exclusive cartridge, Pop-up Neighborhood. This plane caught my eye the first time I looked through the cartridge handbook, so I decided to use it for my card. I used some My Mind's Eye 6x6 stacks of paper for this card - I am SOOOO in love with those! They are the perfect size for making cards, and I don't feel like I am wasting paper that way!
I added some stitching on the plane, and around the edges of the card - also inked just the edges of the card in brown ink. The plane is pop-dotted from the rest of the card to add some dimension. I also cut the clouds from Pop-up Neighborhood. I reversed a couple of them, and skewed some of them a little, and changed the width and height so that they didn't all look identical. The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's stamps - I stamped the first part, then cleaned the stamp and stamped the second part so they were side by side instead of stacked. Finished off with a bit of Baker's Twine along the bottom.
Thanks for stopping by - and make sure and link your own creations at Cricut 360 - can't wait to see what you create!!!
