Good morning! Today is the first day of the new release over at Sweet Stamp Shop - and I am thrilled to be guest designing for them this month! For today's portion of the release, I got to play with the stamp set called "Nesting" - here's a good look at the two cards I made with it:
I stamped the larger nesting doll in the center, and the smaller one on each side before coloring in with Copic Markers.
I stamped my sentiment, and those tiny flowers in blue PTI ink, then added a couple of pearls to the center.
I inked the edges of the white paper with Tim Holtz distress ink in Antique Linen to help it blend in a bit better.
My pattern papers are from a 6x6 Pebbles paper pad. I used foam adhesive between some of the layers for a bit of dimension.
I finished off with a bit of jute twine and a button from my stash.
And here is card number two with this same set:
For this one, I paper pieced the nesting doll, then used Copic markers for the hair and face, and to outline and add some dimension on the other layers.
I stamped the sentiment with PTI ink, accented with a Copic Marker a bit, then fussy cut it out.
I used some My Mind's Eye denim pattern paper, then the striped paper from October Afternoon. I wrapped lace trim, and some jute twine - tying with an October Afternoon button, before mounting it with foam adhesive.
Added a doily, mounted the doll with foam adhesive, and finished off with a bit of bling.
Thanks so much for dropping by today! I hope you will stop over at the Sweet Stamp Shop Blog to see the rest of today's peeks, and what everyone else has created! LOTS of inspiration and beautiful projects!!!
