Good morning! Hard to believe that it is already Friday again! But since it is, I thought I would join in with Unity Friends with Flair again with some of my cards I have been needing to get posted, like this one that I made for a recent publication call and didn't get picked up:
For this card, I used the March KOTM (which I love for all of the chalkboard art style stuff it has!), and I used the chalkboard technique, only on the soft blue chalkboard paper. So I heat embossed, stamped slightly offset with white pigment ink, then smudged some white ink around for "chalk dust." I also added some score lines around the edges for a bit of a border.
Pattern paper is from Glitz Designs Uncharted Waters 6x6 paper pad, some slightly frayed yellow burlap ribbon tucked behind for texture, a bit of washi tape, a Crate Paper doo-dad attached with a Tim Holtz paper clip, some Studio Calico Wood Veneer Stars, and some strips of white cardstock all help finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will come back tomorrow - I have a special post for Shop Pumpkin Spice for National Scrapbooking Day, along with a giveaway! Hope to see you then!!!
Fabulous card.
