Late Birthday Card

Good morning! I feel like lately I have been sneaking in a little crafting here and there while I am homeschooling my kids and such, but I haven't been spending much time on the computer or blogging. So...I have a few cards piling up that I need to blog! Since this first one is for a challenge that is due today, I thought I would start here:

I made this one for the current CAS-UAL FRIDAYS Challenge:

I used a stamp set from My Favorite Things, as well as some of their new inks that I recently purchased. After I stamped the image/sentiment, I placed a polka dot mask over the top of the paper, and sprayed with Mister Huey's Shine Mist - pretty much a clear and glittery color. It is a really subtle effect and doesn't show up in the photos that well, but looks really fun in person!

Added some of my current crafty love - sequins! LOVE the fun color and sparkle they add! 

Also tucked a bit of bling at the bottom of the two, added some May Arts yellow ribbon, and a couple of Studio Calico Wood Veneer pieces before mounting it on some Bazzil Cardstock.

Just a heads up - somehow over the weekend, I jumped up over 600 followers! And several weeks ago I hit over 100 Facebook followers! I really try not to dwell on those numbers, and really don't give them too much attention - but I have been wanting to do a giveaway, and this seems like as good a reason as any! So stay tuned...I hope to get it all together sometime in the next week or so!
