In between getting packed and ready to leave for a week, I REALLY wanted to play along with this weeks Runway Inspired Challenge - here is what I managed to squeeze in last night:
And here is the inspiration photo:
I used the Paper Smooches Notebook Basic Die, and also Love Word Die to cut the center panel out of white cardstock. I stamped the little people, plus sign, and "equals" from Off the Charts and Chart Toppers, then added the tiny hearts from Wicked Nauticool.
I layered some red MFT cardstock behind the die cut "love," then re-inserted the die cut word inside.
For the background, I used some woodgrain paper from Crate Paper's 6x6 The Pier paper pad, added strip of woodgrain washi tape, then added some Mister Huey's mist splatters on the top.
After that dried, I asdded some jute twine, and attached my front panel at an angle with foam adhesive.
Hope you are having a fantastic Saturday! I'm off to finish packing now!!!
You really rocked this challenge! Love the wood grain paper and splatters on the top!
