Good morning! Popping by with a card for Unity Friends with Flair - as well as several other challenges! This is the first card I had made in somewhere around a week - felt good to be creative again! I used my new Unity October KOTM, and Hero Arts inks to put together this super fast card:
The bling is from Eyelet Outlet - I love how perfectly it matches the ink colors! I tied on some jute twine and itty bitty jingle bells for a bit of a festive touch!
Now the challenges - the first one is for the current 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge - a perfect challenge to get out of a crafty slump! And the colors were super fun:
I thought I would have TONS of time to finish this...but I neglected to consider the fact that I had a bandaid on the thumb and first finger of my right hand...and yes, I AM right handed! Slowed me down a lot, and I had to add the bling left-handed - a test in coordination for sure! And then I spent about 30 seconds trying to get the twine through one of the bells before realizing it was a dud, and there wasn't a hole going through. All with those two stinkin' bandaids in my way!!! Arg! I admit I did pause the timer for about 10 seconds to get another bell out, since I had all my supplies assembled as allowed by the rules and I had to re-assemble that item! But, I still would have made it with about 5 seconds to spare, so I guess I don't have to worry about breaking the rules, right? ;-)
Next up - the brand new Unity Be Inspired Challenge - these colors went perfectly with the other challenge - so I used my Unity stamps for my card!
I am also linking this up to the Simon Says Christmas/Happy Holiday Challenge, the Moxie Fab World Color Media Challenge (because of the ink and bling coordination going on!), and the Moxie Fab General Craft Supplies Challenge (those fun jingle bells came out of the ordinary craft aisle at Michael's - not the paper crafting section!)
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Friday!!!
