SSS Valentine Release - Watercolor Heart I Love You

Hello! Excited to be able to share that the new Simon Says Stamp Valentine's Day release is live! You can find all the new products HERE! I can see that I will be playing with all of this stuff a TON - but for today, I thought I would share a card using one of my favorite dies from the new release.

I just LOVE this new heart die called Bramble Heart - so delicate and detailed! The sentiment is from a new stamp set called Roses for You. Here is a peek at some of the new goodies:

I created a simple watercolor wash on the background, then used a bit of glue on a few spots just on the center of the heart to attach it at a jaunty angle. The sentiment was heat embossed on vellum then trimmed by hand into a banner. I adhered the watercolor paper to a soft gray card base, attached the vellum banner with staples on the side, then added a few clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins - using one of them to cover a tiny dot of adhesive to hold the other side of the vellum banner in place!

Also linking this up with the current Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Die Crazy:

Here are the supplies I used for this card - thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!
