Good morning! Dropping by today with another card using the newest Lil' Inker Designs release that just went live a bit over a week ago! I had a couple extra cards to share that didn't make it to the blog hop - so I thought I'd pop in and share one today. This particular one I actually made for my mom's birthday, and didn't want to share it until I'd had a chance to give it to her so she wouldn't spot it online in advance!
When I first saw this lovely set, Bouquet of Roses, I actually pictured it first with bright and springy colors. However, as I sat down and color, this card just sort of happened as I went along. Isn't it fun when you sit down expecting to make one kind of card, and when you finish you've ended up with something entirely different?
Once I colored the bouquet, I die cut it with the coordinating Bouquet of Roses Die, added some pattern paper at an angle on a cream cardbase with a doily tucked underneath, and some jute twine wrapped around the front of the card. I added the bouquet over the top with foam adhesive, the sentiment stamped in the bottom right, and one of the tiny tags with mom stamped onto it.
