Good morning! I'm thrilled to be hopping today to celebrate the NEW Simon Says Stamp Best Days Release with a FABULOUS line up of talented creators! Make sure and check out Day 1 of the Hop starting on the Simon Says Stamp Blog yesterday - there is a $25 prize up for grabs from EACH and EVERY stop along BOTH days of the hop!!!
I have a couple more thank you cards to share today - I have been loving the new Big Thanks Wafer Dies and Big Thanks Words Stamp Set - and this sentiment was a PERFECT fit for the brand new Picture Book Walrus dies, don't you think?
Just like the cute croc cards I shared HERE the other day, I used two colors of cardstock and then just switched out the pieces to get two cards out of each! I did have to cut a bit of black for the noses on these, and also some white for the tusks, but the idea was still pretty much the same. I also added wiggly eyes to these as well - I love the character it adds to them!
For the background of these, I my Gemstones Next Level Embossing Folders to create a background that totally makes me think of icebergs! I thought it was the perfect fit! I then layered on the die cut walruses, the die cut thanks, and added my stamped sentiment on a strip of white popped up on foam tape underneath.
Finished off by matting that front panel on some silver cardstock from Tonic Studios - Silver Screen Glitter cardstock for one, and Frosted Silver Satin Effect for the other. I couldn't choose which one I like best - so I did one of each. What do you think - do you have a favorite?
